BREAKING: Michael Brown Official Autopsy Results are In; Will this Finally Stop the Protests?

BREAKING: Michael Brown Official Autopsy Results are In; Will this Finally Stop the Protests?:

"Violence has continued with protesters interrupting the daily life of people unconnected to the shooting. They have chanted for the killing of Darren Wilson and threatened that there would be more violence if he is not indicted. Even the Democrat governor of Missouri, Jay Nixon, called for the vigorous prosecution of Officer Wilson before an investigation had even begun.

With the official autopsy report not supporting the “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot” narrative that has been claimed by Brown supporters, how will the Ferguson community, and those outside agitators who have remained in the area to fuel the unrest, respond?"

Detroit officials bristle at UN visit, scolding over water shut-offs

Detroit officials bristle at UN visit, scolding over water shut-offs | Fox News
Detroit officials are fuming after two visiting United Nations lawyers scolded the city for cutting off water to delinquent customers and described the shut-offs as a “human rights” violation.
The response follows a three-day visit to Detroit -- which desperately is trying to bail itself out of bankruptcy -- from two representatives with the U.N. Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights.
“It is contrary to human rights to disconnect water from people who simply do not have the means to pay their bills,” Catarina de Albuquerque, one of the two representatives, said Monday at the conclusion of their visit.
“I heard testimonies from poor, African American residents of Detroit who were forced to make impossible choices -- to pay the water bill or to pay their rent.”
But the mayor's office blasted the U.N. review as one-sided. Alexis Wiley, Mayor Mike Duggan’s top aide, said the city is "very disappointed" with them.
"They weren't interested in the facts," she said.
"They took a position and never once [before Monday] reached out to the city for data."

Texas Comptroller Report Destroys Wind Industry Claims

Texas Comptroller Report Destroys Wind Industry Claims | Heartlander Magazine:
"A new report by the Texas Comptroller documents how wind power is raising electricity prices in Texas, throwing cold water on false assertions made by American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) lobbyists.
Big Wind made its false assertions about Texas wind power after I pointed out in a Forbes.com article that electricity prices are soaring in the states most reliant on wind power.
As I documented at Forbes.com, in nine of the 10 states most reliant on wind power, electricity prices are rising at least five times faster than the national average.
This huge disparity in electricity price trends directly contradicts assertions by the subsidy-dependent wind industry that wind power is reducing electricity costs and spurring job growth."

Obama program puts noncitizens on voter rolls

Obama program puts noncitizens on voter rolls « Watchdog.org:
"With early voting starting Thursday, North Carolina’s election board found 154 ineligible voters on its poll lists — and officials are examining thousands more questionable registrations.
The illegal immigrants landed on the state’s voter rolls, courtesy of the Obama administration’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.
The State Board of Elections said late Tuesday that more than 9,000 additional voters’ names are being checked for legal status.
They do not expect to finish checking before early voting starts Thursday.
“We don’t know what we don’t know,” special counsel Brian LiVecchi told Watchdog.org.
Nearly 10,000 names on the rolls are tagged by the state Department of Motor Vehicles as “legally present,” but the Winston-Salem Journal reported that doesn’t mean all 10,000 are ineligible to vote.
When immigrants are certified under DACA deportation proceedings are frozen."

The junk ‘science’ behind the marijuana legalization movement

The junk ‘science’ behind the marijuana legalization movement - The Washington Post:
"Already, 23 states allow marijuana to be prescribed for medicinal use, making it easy for proponents for broader legalization, such as the Marijuana Policy Project, to brand the drug as “harmless.”
Some go further, calling it “safe” and even “healthy.”
....The problem is that marijuana is not, in fact, “harmless.”
(Update: After publication, the Marijuana Policy Project altered the language on its site to call pot “a much less harmful substance” than alcohol.
Here is a screenshot of the original.)
Proponents are spinning the science — casting pot as a threat only if used improperly, much like a car — for the sake of advancing their political agenda.
It’s fine for people to believe the government has no business conducting a “war on drugs,” but it’s something else entirely to trivialize or simply deny marijuana’s harmful effects.
....As more states move to legalize marijuana, polls indicate that Americans are growing much more accepting of marijuana use.
But the growing acceptance and availability of pot, along with the misleading advertisements spread by legalization proponents, are spreading the dangerous myth that marijuana is risk-free.
There are compelling reasons to change our policy toward marijuana — notably, cutting down on incarceration rates for possession.
But simply ignoring the science on the negative effects of chronic (no pun intended) marijuana use does a disservice to the dialogue around marijuana."

How Asset Forfeiture Allows Cops to Steal from Citizens

How Asset Forfeiture Allows Cops to Steal from Citizens - Reason.com:
It probably seemed like a bright idea at the time:
Let the police seize the ill-gotten gains of alleged drug dealers and other suspected criminals and sell it, using the proceeds to buy much-needed crime-fighting gear.
Unfortunately, the process—civil asset forfeiture—did not require convicting anybody of a crime. In fact, it didn’t even require charging anybody with a crime.
Not surprisingly, this led to rampant abuse, which has been abundantly documented for many years. Various reform efforts, including a 2000 federal law, have been unable to stop what’s become known as policing for profit.

UNC athletics scandal report says bogus classes, inflated grades pushed by coaches, counselors

JUST IN: UNC athletics scandal report says bogus classes, inflated grades pushed by coaches, counselors:
More details have emerged about one of the largest cheating scandals involving collegiate athletes is U.S. history thanks to a new investigative report released Wednesday.
University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill had concocted a massive system to keep student athletes eligible to play, a set-up described by theNews & Observer as an 18-year scheme that included bogus classes, inflated grades and a “shadow curriculum” advanced by those in charge.
Everyone from coaches to academic counselors to a top official at the African and Afro-American Studies department were complicit in the scheme.
The N&O reports:
The system of no-show classes at UNC-Chapel Hill was pushed by academic counselors for athletes, hatched and enabled by two sympathetic officials in a key department and employed by coaches eager to keep players eligible, a new report into the long-running scandal has found.
The 18-year scheme generated inflated grades through lecture-style classes that had been quietly converted into bogus independent studies. The report, released Wednesday afternoon, found a new culprit: the Academic Support Program for Student-Athletes.
[The report] found that the academic counselors had pushed for the easy classes and embraced those started by Deborah Crowder, a longtime manager for the Department of African and Afro-American Studies. The report describes a fairly broad group of academic and athletic officials who knew about athletes getting better grades in classes that only required papers, yet taking little or no action.

PICTURE: This Map DESTROYS the Left’s ‘Voter ID Laws are Racist’ Myth:

"Liberals like to pretend that asking for ID at a voting booth places some sort of fictitious undue burden on the fundamental right to vote. However, in a glaring contradiction of ideology (even by liberal standards), these same morons claim that background checks and other restrictive methods of obtaining a firearm are not only needed, but compatible with the Second Amendment that clearly states that the right to keep and bear arms “shall not be infringed.”

IRS Stonewaller Lerner's Emails Are Not Lost, Say Government Lawyers

IRS Stonewaller Lerner's Emails Are Not Lost, Say Government Lawyers
Government lawyers have told a watchdog group suing over the Internal Revenue Service scandal that Lois Lerner’s emails aren’t missing after all.
Attorneys for the Justice Department surprised Judicial Watch, a right-leaning watchdog group, on Friday by saying that they have copies of every electronic message ever sent from Lerner, a former top IRS official who is a key figure in a targeting scandal involving conservative groups that sought tax-exempt status.
The IRS told Congress that thousands of Lerner’s emails sent prior to 2011 were hopelessly lost thanks to a hard drive crash that left the data unrecoverable.
A back-up system, they said, had also been erased.
Officials told Congress about a half dozen IRS officials in addition to Lerner, some affiliated with the targeting, had also lost emails due to computer crashes.
Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said Justice Department lawyers informed him that the federal government keeps a back-up copy of every email and record in the event of a government-wide catastrophe.
The back-up system includes the IRS emails, too.
“So, the emails may be inconvenient to access, but they are not gone with the [broken] hard drive,” Judicial Watch spokeswoman Jill Farrell told the Washington Examiner.

VIDEO: Dr. Alveda King Says the Words that Most Black People Won’t Admit About Obama:

"When Barack Obama was elected President of the United States in 2008, many people said that his election fulfilled Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr’s dream. In fact, the history of electing the nation’s first black president was pushed so hard that his past, his belief system did not seem to matter. People interested in making history paid no attention to who Barack Obama was as a person.
In fact, who he was as a person was kept well hidden with all personal info about him sealed and daring to question it leading to a charge of racism."

Articles: Is ACORN behind violent unrest in Ferguson?

Articles: Is ACORN behind violent unrest in Ferguson?
With all the pathologies on parade right now in and around Ferguson, really, how could the loyalists of ACORN, which once claimed a membership of 400,000, have stayed away from the opportunity to lynch a white police officer for doing his job?
The recruiting and fundraising opportunities for the cop-hating progressive movement are virtually unlimited.
What's going on in Ferguson is mobocracy at its ugliest.
Activists are blackmailing the grand jury that is now hearing evidence against police officer Darren Wilson, who shot Brown in August reportedly in self-defense.
If the grand jurors refuse to indict Wilson, radical activists are promising even more mayhem.
The message is unmistakable: indict the cop, and there will be peace.
 Don't, and Ferguson will burn.
One of the groups deeply involved in causing chaos in Ferguson is Missourians Organizing for Reform and Empowerment (MORE), a 501(c)(4) nonprofit.
MORE is the rebranded Missouri branch of the former Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN),
which filed for bankruptcy in late 2010.

Holi crapoli! EVERYONE is a victim!!!------New protections added to Ann Arbor's non-discrimination ordinance

New protections added to Ann Arbor's non-discrimination ordinance | MLive.com:
"The City Council voted 10-0 Monday night to add protections against discrimination when it comes to housing, employment and public accommodations for victims of domestic violence and stalking, and on the basis of gender expression, veteran status, political beliefs, genetic information, arrest record and familial status.
"These changes, I believe, reflect Ann Arbor's values of openness and tolerance," said Council Member Christopher Taylor, D-3rd Ward.
"I'm grateful to be able to help put this policy into effect," added Council Member Chuck Warpehoski, D-5th Ward.
The ordinance continues to include protections against discrimination on the basis of age, color, disability, educational association, family responsibilities, gender identity, height, HIV status, marital status, national origin, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, source of income, and weight.
The city is still waiting on the state to add sexual orientation and gender identity to the state's anti-discrimination laws."

Michelle Malkin Blasts Colorado Law as 'Voter Fraud Frankenstein'

Michelle Malkin Blasts Colorado Law as 'Voter Fraud Frankenstein' | Fox News Insider:

"With just two weeks until the 2014 midterm elections, there are warnings that a new Colorado law has opened the door to possible voter fraud in a critical Senate race.
About 16 months ago, the Democratic governor signed an election law which allows residents to print ballots from their home computers, then turn them over to collectors.
Critics say this could lead to voter fraud, and they allege it was pushed through the state Legislature to keep Democrats in power.
Over the course of a decade, a once-red state has become more Democratic – and a new film, hosted by Michelle Malkin, tells the story of how that happened.
“Rocky Mountain Heist,” produced by Citizens United, is a documentary which reveals how a wealthy liberal quartet took over the state."

Soooooo, the BIG PROBLEM is....... us?-----------Shock Interview: Ebola Czar Says Population Growth Is Top Issue Facing the World

Shock Interview: Ebola Czar Says Population Growth Is Top Issue Facing the World:

Since his appointment as America’s Ebola Czar it has been revealed that not only does Ron Klain have no medical experience to speak of, but that his position as the head of coordinating efforts to stop Ebola is just a stepping stone to something bigger and better. The administration says that they need someone with management experience to ensure containment operations are executed effectively.
That would be all fine and dandy except for a shocking interview that has made its way onto the internet in which Klain is asked about the top issue facing the world.
It turns out that the new Ebola Czar, whose responsibility is to quash the spread of Ebola and save lives, is seemingly an advocate of population and resource control.
I think the top issue facing the world today is how to deal with the continuing growing population in the world and all of the resource demands it places on the world.

And burgeoning populations in Africa and Asia that lack the resources to have a health, happy life. I think we’ve got to find a way to make the world work for everyone.
