Moron democrat super-gaffs and MSM ignores----Sen. Mark Udull Strikes Again

Sen. Mark Udull Strikes Again | Power Line

Here’s the transcript (hat tip: RealClearPolitics):
“I’m so proud of our country,” Sen. Mark Udall (D-CO) said as he introduced First Lady Michelle Obama at a campaign event on Thursday. “We showed that Dr. Martin Luther King [Jr.] had it right. Which is that in America, at our best, we judge people by the content of their color.”

Udall quickly corrected himself.

“The content of their character, not the character of their skin,” he said.

“I got it right. I got it both ways!”

“We judge people by the content of their character, not the color of their skin.”

Unintended consequences-Drone nearly collided with British passenger plane on purpose

Report: Drone nearly collided with British passenger plane on purpose | Ars Technica
On Sunday, a British regulatory agency revealed that the country faced its first near-collision between a passenger aircraft and a drone in May.
The UK Airprox Board's report, uncovered by the Daily Mail, determined that a quadcopter flew "within 80 feet" of an 74-seat ATR 72 aircraft and did so "deliberately."
The incident happened over the county of Essex as the plane prepared to land at London Southend Airport. According to the report, the quadcopter came close to hitting the larger plane's right-side wing at an altitude of roughly 1,500 feet.
The report included a conversation between the ATR 72's pilot and an air control tower, in which the tower confirmed the offending red-and-black craft was probably a quadcopter, as "we've had a couple of those around here" recently.

"Ever since the Michael Brown shooting by Officer Darren Wilson on August 9, 2014, the media has attempted to spin the narrative of police profiling in Ferguson and have assisted in pushing the narrative that Wilson shot ‘an unarmed black teen’ with no just cause. This was stated loudly by MSNBC’s resident racial grievance industry professional Al Sharpton and echoed by Barack Obama during a speech at the UN and activist Attorney General Eric Holder."

  • Sharyl Attkisson left CBS in the spring, with some reporting she had split because of the network's 'liberal' bias
  • Attkisson, who is now a contributor for The Daily Signal at Heritage Foundation, says the administration hounded her for her coverage of Fast and Furious and Benghazi
  • She also blames CBS for being willing to kill stories that were critical of government or controversial
  • A conflict of interest with CBS President David Rhodes, whose brother is part of the Obama administration, also complicated reporting

The State is No Friend of the Worker

The State is No Friend of the Worker - Reason.com
The surest way to eliminate wage discrimination is to keep government from impeding the competitive process with such devices as occupational licensing, permits, minimum product standards, so-called intellectual property, zoning, and other land-use restrictions.
All government barriers to self-employment — and these can take implicit forms, such as patents and raising the cost of living through inflation, or burdening entrepreneurs with protectionist regulation — make workers vulnerable to exploitation.
Being able to tell a boss, "Take this job and shove it," because alternatives, including self-employment, are available, is an effective way to establish the true market value of one's labor in the marketplace.
With the collapsing price of what Kevin Carson calls the "technologies of abundance" (think of information technology and digital machine tools), sophisticated small-scale enterprise — and the independence it represents — is more feasible than ever.

‘Hazing’: Obama Administration Reportedly Designed Snub of Israeli Defense Minister to Intentionally ‘Humiliate’ Him | TheBlaze.com:

"The Obama administration’s mass snubbing of Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon last week was designed to “humiliate” him, the Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported, adding that Obama officials would continue to “ostracize” him until Ya’alon further apologizes for off-the-record comments he made about Kerry more than nine months ago.

Barak Ravid, the diplomatic correspondent for the newspaper, compared the Obama administration move to a “hazing.”

The murders of F&F and this cover-up makes "Watergate" look like a kids game----The Fast and Furious Cover-up, Hiding In Plain Sight

The Fast and Furious Cover-up, Hiding In Plain Sight | Power Line
THE FAST AND FURIOUS COVER-UP, HIDING IN PLAIN SIGHT
The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee has been trying to investigate the Fast and Furious scandal for years, but has been stymied by the Obama administration’s stonewalling. The House committee was willing to narrow its request for Department of Justice documents to an extraordinary degree; ultimately, the committee asked only that the Obama administration produce documents after February 4, 2011, relating to the false letter to Congress that bore that date, and the process by which Eric Holder’s DOJ decided to withdraw that letter. Notwithstanding this narrow scope, the Obama administration has stiffed the House committee for three years, asserting executive privilege over virtually all of the documents encompassed by the committee’s request. We first wrote about DOJ’s privilege claims, which I termed “frivolous,” here.
Independently, Judicial Watch served a Freedom of Information Act request for the same documents that were requested by the House committee. When the Obama administration refused to produce them on the same privilege grounds, Judicial Watch sued. The court finally ordered DOJ to produce a “Vaughn index,” listing the documents being withheld and providing enough information about them to assess the grounds asserted. The administration tried to put that production off until after the election, but the court required that it be produced last week. I made some initial observations about the Vaughn index here, noting that emails between Eric Holder and his wife and mother had been withheld based on the “deliberative process” privilege.
Having had an opportunity to review the index further–it is over 1,300 pages long, and can be downloaded here–it seems to me that it provides a rather detailed picture of the Obama administration’s cover-up of the Fast and Furious scandal.
None, or virtually none, of the documents itemized in the index have anything to do with setting government policy, which is the type of communication the deliberative process privilege is intended to protect. Rather, based on the descriptions given by DOJ’s lawyers, they are all about how the administration will try to spin the Fast and Furious scandal to avoid political damage. If you review the index, you will see what I mean. Here are a few examples.
First, the most explosive aspect of the scandal is the fact that border agent Brian Terry was killed with a Fast and Furious gun. The Obama administration worried a lot about this, not because it wanted to change policies so that similar tragedies would not happen in the future, but rather because it was trying to avoid political fallout. Its concern was “talking points” about Brian Terry.

I thought the idea of "religious freedom" was they could practice their religion within our legal structure.-------Sikh Students Can Bring Religious Knife to School

Sikh Students Can Bring Religious Knife to School - Reason 24/7 : Reason.com
AUBURN, Wash. -- Like all religions, the Sikh faith is steeped in tradition.
One of the most revered is the carrying of a Kirpan, a sword or dagger, at all times.
"People will even wear it in the shower. It's kind of hard for others to understand," said Jaswinder Singh, spokesman for the Gurudwara Sikh Center of Seattle.
The concept of the Kirpan is taught to children at an early age.
The dagger is considered an instrument of social justice.
"For the people who are formally initiated to the Kirpan, it's very near and dear," said Singh.
But is it appropriate to bring to school?
A few weeks ago at Auburn's Gildo Rey Elementary, a Sikh family approached the school telling them their little boy would be carrying a Kirpan every day.
That didn't sit well with some.
..."They can't take that thing into the airport.
TSA would be all over it.
Why is a school any different?" she asked.
District administrators are citing state and federal guidelines that allow certain exceptions to Washington's "zero tolerance" for weapons policy.
They say there are plenty of Sikhs, both students and staff, who have carried Kirpans to school for years without incident.
In this case, the knife is to be kept under the child's clothes at all times.....

Our entire trust in government ies on the back of our trust in the system------Voter Fraud; Non-Issue Or The Main Issue

Voter Fraud; Non-Issue Or The Main Issue | The Conservative Citizen:
“Keep in mind that most of these laws are not preventing the overwhelming majority of folks who don’t vote from voting. Most people do have an ID. Most people do have a driver’s license. Most people can get to the polls. The bottom line is, if less than half of our folks vote, these laws aren’t preventing the other half from not voting.” (Barack Obama, October 21, 2014)
Voter fraud is not new.
Ever since empires evolved from kings thought to be of divine heritage and nations ruled by unchallenged tyrants to ancient democracies like Greece and republics like Rome to modern day America, subversive elements have continually sought to subvert an outcome one way or the other from the will of those who oppose them.
Voting is the one thing that demonstrates the morality and responsibility of each individual. Voting is the catalyst of Ben Franklin’s statement that we would only reap the benefits of our Republican form of government, “…as long as we can keep it.” It is a calling and duty as much as anything other aspect of our existence that defines us. And free men and tyrants alike know this.
When we look within the guarded walls of socialist, communist and nationalist governments we often see depicted a facade that portrays the will of the people as being compliant to those who rule over them.
They refer to themselves as republics or democracies as if central planning by tyrants is condoned by their subjects.
Yet under this guise of willful submission their “elections” reek of fraud, manipulation and intimidation as if these are simply elements of a well-run campaign.
.... The writer claims in much the same manner as Ginsberg, In-person voter fraud is rare.” Therefore the writer presupposes the only motive behind it would be voter suppression.
Requiring Voter ID may be nothing more than a deterrent but at least it serves a purpose. The fact voter fraud may be rare does not mean it doesn’t exists. Just ask Eric Holder who once had someone impersonate him at the polls (and by the way successfully cast a vote).
How about the situation in Minnesota where the election of Al Franken is still under the cloud of fraud? During that election Franken had contested the results and demanded a recount. As the recount progressed Franken eventually was declared the winner.
NBC reported in November 2013 there is a problem with Franken’s election. The conservative group “Minnesota Majority” began investigating those ballots and found 1,099 felons had voted illegally “at the polls”. To date 177 have been convicted of voting fraudulently. Another 66 await trial.
In a contest that was decided by 312 votes, in which now 166 stand disproved with another 66 in the wings awaiting trial is it not safe to suppose there may be more? Does it matter? Al Franken was the Senator that gave Obama a 60 seat majority. That’s a filibuster proof majority if you’re not up to snuff on protocol.
...How are they voting? I just stated it. Mail-in ballots received through Driver License registration. In other words, being allowed to vote without showing up. What about those districts in Ohio and Pennsylvania that reported over a 100% turnout? Or the district in which Romney did not receive a single vote?
Why do you think Obama’s immigration reform campaign centers “…on a path to citizenship”. What motivates morons like Wasserman-Schultz to claim illegals, though only 5%b of the workforce are “…the backbone of the American economy”. Why does the Federal Government issue memorandums to schools stating they cannot refuse to educate illegals?
Voter ID would expose this agenda. And that is the reason we need it. And that is why the left spends so much time trying to convince America it is a “non-issue”. It is the final piece in Obama’s agenda to “…fundamentally transform the United States of America.”
The real solution to voter fraud is the repeal of mail-in ballots (other than absentee), databases that identify multiple registrations in different states, closure of open primaries and THEN Voter ID. Only then will voter fraud become a “non-issue”.

Michigan State Football: Spartans Fans Fly ‘Keep Brady Hoke’ Banner - Lost Lettermen
Michigan State was in full trolling force in advance of its game against Michigan on Saturday.
Before the Spartans’ matchup against the Wolverines, a plane was seen flying over Spartan Stadium carrying a banner that read, “U of M - Please Keep Brady Hoke - Plzzz.”
We’ve seen airplane banners calling for coaches to get fired before, but this is a beautiful twist on the old formula by MSU fans.
It’s also a great comeback after Michigan once had a plane write “Go Blue” over Spartan Stadium.
Even with the extra Z’s, however, it’s unlikely Michigan will follow through with MSU’s wish.

I sorta thought the Aztecs were, like, all dead.---------Students say spear-wielding Aztec mascot offensive, demand its decommission

Students say spear-wielding Aztec mascot offensive, demand its decommission:
"Some students at San Diego State University are pushing to scrap their “Aztec Warrior” mascot and its use of a spear, claiming they perpetuate “harmful stereotypes of Native Americans” and disrespect them.
In an official resolution submitted earlier this month to the student government, the SDSU Queer People of Color Collective called for the immediate end to any association with “Aztec” culture.
“The continued use of the name ‘Aztec’ and the ‘Aztec Warrior’ mascot perpetuate harmful stereotypes of Native Americans, including the notion that Native Americans are innately violent, dangerous, and ‘savage,’ which is demonstrated by the Aztec Warrior’s aggressive body language, the Aztec Warrior’s use of a spear at special events, the use of a spear on the SDSU Athletics Logo which is printed on uniforms and SDSU memorabilia, and the slogan ‘fear the spear,’ ” the resolution states. "

Sorry, Obamacare Is Still Unfixable - Bloomberg View:

"This trade-off should appeal to a small number of people who foresee themselves being pretty healthy. Their low premiums would entitle them to the preventative care that Obamacare requires all insurance plans to cover, but in the event of a major problem would leave them with big bills to pay. This is more or less the opposite of the way insurance should work."
