...Still, Obama has not given up and once again invokes the infamous fairness doctrine, saying that "fairness demands that the nation’s wealthiest pitch in as more and more Americans are falling behind."

Why does "fairness demand" anything?
Because according to Obama America's wealthy are nothing more than society's lottery winners. From the Daily Caller:

The top 25 hedge fund managers made more than all of the kindergarten teachers in the country. So, when I say that, I’m not saying that because I dislike hedge fund managers, or I think they are evil, I’m saying that you’re paying a lower [tax] rate than a lot of folks who are making $300,000 a year. You pretty much have more than you’ll ever be able to use in your family will ever be able to use.

There’s a fairness issue involved here. And by the way, if we were able to close that loophole, I could now invest in early childhood education to make a difference. That’s where the rubber hits the road. That’s … where the question of compassion and ‘I’m my brother’s keeper’ comes into play. And if we can’t ask from society’s lottery winners to just make that modest investment, then really this conversation is for show.

Of course, "society's lottery winners" simply because they have all the money and influence, will never agree to voluntarily part with their wealth by handing over more of it to Uncle Sam. Instead they will bribe Congress with a fraction of what taxes they would pay to crush any incipient tax reform.

After all they "won the lottery" precisely because they knew how to best game the system.

Instead what they will stronly "suggest", is for the Fed to go ahead and fund America's money needs by way of continuing to monetize its deficit: it may even require a rate hike first just to make sure the economy resumes its depressionary ways, just so there is cover for QE4, QE5 and so on.

And yes, for those who wonder, it was this "deficit monetization" process that since it was first launched in 2008, has made them richer than anything conceived in their wildest dreams.

They also won the lottery because they were smarter. Supposedly. Because as the cartoon below shows, that particular question is certainly up for debate in recent years...

Those screening machines guarding the nation’s air travel might not work at all.
An alarming report released by Homeland Security revealed that bomb screening equipment used in U.S. airports might not be operational due to ineffective maintenance by the Transportation Security Authority.

“The TSA is not properly managing the maintenance of its airport screening equipment,” the Office of Inspector General said.

“Specifically, TSA has not issued adequate policies and procedures to airports for carrying out equipment maintenance-related responsibilities. Because TSA does not adequately oversee equipment maintenance, it cannot be assured that routine preventive maintenance is performed or that equipment is repaired and ready for operational use.

“Consequently, the safety of airline passengers and aircraft could be jeopardized.”

...Boyd said the mismanagement and lack of accountability within the TSA is more dangerous than defective machinery designed to keep passengers safe.

The White House just named Ed Felten as its newest advisor in the Office of Science and Technology Policy. 
Felten is a professor at Princeton, but you might remember him from a 2006 video where he shows how to hack a voting machine and potentially steal an election. (Conspiracy theorists, start your engines!)

“Our study shows that a criminal who can inject malicious software into this voting machine can control how the votes are tallied,” the narrator of the video says. 
“His malicious software can steal votes, and it can cover its tracks so that the theft cannot be detected.”

Felten and his two grad student researchers at Princeton wrote software to hack the Diebold machines and demonstrated it in the video below.

Aside from being on faculty at Princeton, Felten has held a number of positions in government.
He was named the first Chief Technologist at the Federal Trade Commission, and also worked on antitrust issues at the Department of Justice.
He was also a board member of the Electronic Frontier Foundation.

So what does this mean for White House policy?
We’d speculate that perhaps the US might start to take the security of its e-voting machines more seriously..."

In a statement that specifically cited the court's May 8 decision overturning cuts in state pensions, the credit rating agency said the city's options now “have narrowed considerably.”
The downgrade is a blow to Mayor Rahm Emanuel, who during the mayoral election stressed his expertise to deal with the city's financial challenges. Emanuel labeled Moody's decision “irresponsible,” but did not deny its impact.
The downgrade is also a major blow to taxpayers because the city's cost of borrowing will rise, perhaps a lot, even if other bond ratings agencies do not follow Moody's lead.
If Fitch Ratings and Standard & Poor's Financial Services follow suit, the city's financial position could spiral downward—potentially forcing the city to come up with as much as $500 million quickly..."

We need to ask ourselves, how much longer are we going to allow outsiders to fundamentally transform our way of life?  We have allowed our government to take control of issues it has no business controlling, while allowing it to completely disregard its purpose and sworn duty.  

Americans have always been the target of our enemies, but now, attacks are taking place on our own soil. Our once honorable White House ignores the threats. The government has tried to downplay such attacks.  They excuse the behavior of those who wish to destroy everything American and condemn Americans for not embracing the very people who wish to destroy us.  In what universe does this make sense? 

By giving in to political correctness, we have allowed our enemies to influence our thinking and behavior. Agenda Inc. goes into overtime.  Names are manufactured to categorize individuals as they see fit.  Lies are manufactured to make the desired outcome make sense. Truth no longer matters.  If the ends justify the means, cheating and lying are acceptable. 

Look how far this country has declined over the past several years.
