New York Times Editor Defends Not Covering Clinton’s ‘Misleading’ Statement During Interview | TheBlaze.com:
"An editor at the New York Times defended in a blog post published Tuesday the paper’s decision not to cover an unflattering story about Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.
Liz Spayd, the Times’ public editor, attempted to explain why the publication didn’t cover Clinton’s claim during a recent “Fox News Sunday” interview that FBI Director James Comey said her answers regarding her use of a private email server while she was secretary of state were “truthful.”"

On January 8, 2014, Complainant filed a formal complaint in which he alleged that the Agency subjected him to discrimination on the basis of race (African American) and in reprisal for prior EEO activity when, starting in the fall of 2013, a coworker (C1) repeatedly wore a cap to work with an insignia of the Gadsden Flag, which depicts a coiled rattlesnake and the phrase “Don’t Tread on Me.”Complainant stated that he found the cap to be racially offensive to African Americans because the flag was designed by Christopher Gadsden, a “slave trader & owner of slaves.” Complainant also alleged that he complained about the cap to management; however, although management assured him C1 would be told not to wear the cap, C1 continued to come to work wearing the offensive cap. Additionally, Complainant alleged that on September 2, 2013, a coworker took a picture of him on the work room floor without his consent. In a decision dated January 29, 2014, the Agency dismissed Complainant’s complaint on the basis it failed to state a claim . . . .
Complainant maintains that the Gadsden Flag is a “historical indicator of white resentment against blacks stemming largely from the Tea Party.”
I seem to recall the Tea Party being founded to protest taxes and spending, not as a racial grievance group."

Federal Appeals Court Upholds Criminal Charges Against 13 Year Old for Burping in Class
Federal Appeals Court Upholds Criminal Charges Against 13 Year Old for Burping in Class - Hit & Run : Reason.com:
"The scene is Albuquerque's Cleveland Middle School, where a 13-year-old class clown is disrupting things by constantly burping during teaching time.
So the teacher bounces him to the vice principal's office, who has a sneaking suspicion that the kid is involved in selling pot on school grounds.
The boy is made to take his jeans and shoes off but no drugs are found.
The kid—a pain in the ass in all likelihood, let's be honest—is suspended for the rest of the school year.
As over-the-top as that seems, there's worse yet to come.
He's also criminally charged under an impossibly vague statute that reads in part:
"No person shall willfully interfere with the educational process of any public or private school by committing, threatening to commit or inciting others to commit any act which would disrupt, impair, interfere with or obstruct the lawful mission, processes, procedures or functions of a public or private school."
...When you encounter this sort of ridiculous overreaction on the part of school officials—which is then certified by even-more-august authorities—it is no wonder why Americans are losing confidence in major institutions of political, commercial, and civic life.
These are not the actions of authorities who have belief in themselves and the things they run.
They are the behaviors of a society in decline, to be honest, that no longer feels as if it can exercise power at any level except via banishment and extreme action."

Uganda spends cash on a magic internet smut machine – TechEye:
"While it is desperate for cash to pay for a cancer diagnostic machine, the Ugandan government is prepared to waste $88,000 on a magic device which is supposed to tell if people are watching porn on their PCs and mobiles.
Having nude photos on mobile and electronic devices in Uganda can land you in jail for up to 10 years as the government is keen to “stamp pornography out of Ugandan society”.
It even has a Minster of Ethics, Simon Lokodo, who thinks it is ethical to waste money on this device while his country’s hospitals are strapped for tech.
He is clearly impressed with the machine which will arrive in Uganda next month.
It is not clear how it will work but Lokodo said that it will be able to “detect, control, and scrutinize porn on mobile handsets and other electronic devices”...

CLIMATE CHANGE IS THE NEW REEFER MADNESS
CLIMATE CHANGE IS THE NEW REEFER MADNESS: Hollywood sci-fi filmmakers tapped to dramatize fictional climate change to scare everybody into voting for climate totalitarians - NaturalNews.com:
"(NaturalNews) I'm almost rolling with laughter watching all this unfold:
Because democrats refuse to face the real threats facing America -- Islamic terrorism, debt spending, illegal immigration and job-crushing federal mandates like Obamacare -- they have to invent their own fake emergencies to try to win the votes of people who don't have any clue about the real world.
So-called "climate change" -- previously known as "global warming" but renamed after the data revealed no warming trend at all -- is entirely rooted in false mythologies, official narratives and creative storytelling.
That's precisely why democrats had to hire James Cameron, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sigourney Weaver to present a climate change scary in a new short film.
These are the very same people whose films depict time-traveling Terminator robots, interplanetary aliens with green acid blood, and poltergeists that could be captured with vacuum cleaners (the original "Ghostbusters" movie... the one that didn't suck).
If you believe in time-traveling robots from the future, you might also believe in the climate change narrative, too.
That narrative is based entirely on ridiculous, absurd, make-believe notions such as:
• The hilariously ignorant idea that polar bears can't swim (or even that their numbers are plummeting). In truth, polar bears are champion swimmers, and their population numbers are on the rise.
• The scientifically illiterate notion that carbon dioxide is bad for the planet. In reality, it's the No. 1 nutrient source of all forests, food crops, herbal plants and green zones across the planet. CO2 reforests deserts and amplifies food production. It's also impossible for humans alone to raise CO2 levels much at all for the simple reason that plants are starving for it and keep consuming it as fast as we can make it. (This is Botany Science 101.)
• The laughably anti-science narrative that says oceans are going to rise so quickly, they'll drown out coastal cities and devastate human civilization. In reality, even during warming periods of Earth's history, oceans barely creep up at the pace of only about 1-2mm per year. That's about 1-2 DECADES for a single inch of ocean level rise. (Yep, not exactly the tidal wave apocalypse depicted in climate change scare films, is it?)

Media Ignores Clinton's Podesta Bagging $35 Million from Putin:
"...Accountability Institute (GAI) President Peter Schweizer revealing that Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman John Podesta’s firm Joule Unlimited received millions from a Putin-connected Russian government fund.
And despite the GAI report’s wide-ranging news coverage, missing from the pack were left-wing press shops.
Among the New York Times, CNN, NBC, CBS, Washington Post, LA Times, POLITICO — not a single one has covered the bombshell revelation or reported asking Podesta for a comment on his involvement in Joule Unlimited.
This media blackout persists, oddly, after “John Podesta” catapulted to the top of Facebook North America’s treading topics list on Monday, thanks to Schweizer’s new Russia revelations.

Stunning Report: Obama Administration Made Secret $400M Cash Payment to Iran as Detained Americans Were Released | TheBlaze.com:
"The report states that the United States sent “wooden pallets stacked with euros, Swiss francs and other currencies” into Iran on an “unmarked cargo plane.” U.S. law forbids transactions with Iran with American currency.
The U.S. and European officials who spoke to the Journal didn’t specify exactly when the airlift of cash occurred, but the Tasnim agency, “an Iranian news site close to the Revolutionary Guard,” reported that the plane landed at Tehran’s Mehrabad Airport the same day the American prisoners were released."

Female Genital Mutilation Becoming Increasingly Common in the U.S.
Female Genital Mutilation Becoming Increasingly Common in the U.S. | The Daily Sheeple:
"It used to be that the practice of female genital mutilation was a rare occurrence in the United States. The act of “circumcising” young girls, which has no known benefits and can cause a host of lifelong medical problems, is mostly performed in African and Middle Eastern nations.
But now it’s shockingly common to find women in America who have undergone the procedure, according to a recent report published by the Government Accountability Office.
They dug up statistics provided by the CDC, which found that the number of girls and women in the United States who have undergone the procedure or are at risk, has tripled since 1990.
In 2012 it was estimated that there were 513,000 of the these women, compared to 168,000 in 1990. “CDC attributes this change primarily to increased immigration from countries where FGM/C is practiced, rather than an increase in the occurrence of FGM/C.
...Of course, female genital mutilation is illegal in the United States, as well as most countries.
But when this procedure is done on American soil, it’s rarely reported, and perpetrators are hardly ever investigated and charged.
Even when the government has suspects, their cases pretty much never amount to anything.
The report found that Immigrations and Customs Enforcement officials had identified 25 people who were suspected of providing the procedure, but only 1 of them was deported.
“The remaining 24 were granted relief or protection from removal, were still in immigration proceedings, or were not issued a travel document by their home country to implement the immigration court’s final order of removal.”"

Tax meat until it’s too expensive to eat, new UN report suggests - Ice Age Now:
"Meat should be taxed at the wholesale level to raise the price and deter consumption, says a new report from the UN’s International Research Panel (IRP).
This will (supposedly) save the environment and prevent global warming.
“I think it is extremely urgent,” said Professor Maarten Hajer of Utrecht University in the Netherlands, lead author of the report.
“All of the harmful effects on the environment and on health needs to be priced into food products.”
...Rather than taxing the meat at the retail level (in supermarkets and shops), Hajer recommended taxing it at the wholesale level.
“We think it’s better to price meats earlier in the chain, it’s easier,” said Hajer.
...“Meanwhile, Denmark is considering a recommendation from its ethics council that all red meats should be taxed,” Premack continues.
“The council argued in May that Danes were “ethically obliged” to reduce their consumption to curb greenhouse gas emissions.”...

Wayne State's financial problems prompt Moody's to change outlook to 'negative':
"As Wayne State University continues to struggle with declining enrollment, school officials are spending cash reserves at an alarming rate.
As a result, Moody’s Investors Services has assigned a negative outlook for Wayne State.
“The revision of the outlook to negative reflects the incremental weakening of Wayne State University’s fundamental credit through the spend down of financial reserves and multi-year decline in enrollment,” the report states.
...In late 2014, Standard and Poor’s also downgraded its outlook for Wayne State to negative.
Despite the downgrade, the university continued to spend money and create more debt.
...When Wayne State dropped math from graduation requirements in June, the Board of Governors learned about it from the media.
In the past five years, Wayne State’s enrollment has fallen more than 10%, from 30,510 in 2009 to 27,222 in 2015.
...Another concern of Moody’s is the Wayne State University School of Medicine, which faces accreditation problems because of numerous violations, including a drop in minority enrollment.

Spiral Death Spin
By Tammy Derouin
The administration wants civil unrest and the most
uninformed among us are bound and determined to deliver it right to his door
step. They are clueless to the fact that
they are being used to destroy the very country that acknowledges their God
given rights. They demand that their
voices be heard but they will do everything in their power to silence anyone
who dares to disagree with them. This is
liberal hypocrisy at its best.
The executive and his administration have worked tirelessly
to divide our nation. They never waste
an opportunity to undermine or chip away at our freedoms and liberties. Their foot soldiers are being used to deny
others their God given rights. Can you
imagine the outcry if conservatives were attempting to silence liberals? It would be a much different story.
Our rights are not a one party benefit. This is precisely why our founding fathers
created a governing system of laws, not men.
They understood that everyone is entitled to their opinions and beliefs. Having an opinion or in many cases, facts,
which differ from the ruling party is proving to be very dangerous. Everyone has the right to speak freely and to
assemble but not when it interferes with the rights of others. We know the liberal Left would not tolerate
the same malicious treatment.
Today many liberals feel safe while trampling on the rights
of others. After all, the administration
turns a blind eye to their unruly behavior. They cannot see they are destroying
themselves in the process. If they think they are being ignored or not being
heard now, wait until their party turns on them. They will scream foul when their rights are
infringed upon. But, will there be any
rights left to claim?
The Left demands tolerance, yet they will not tolerate
anyone who disagrees with their agenda of destruction. Our society is in a spiral death spin. We are
now hearing that Republican lives don’t matter and that there will be riots if
a certain candidate moves forward. What
the followers of the liberal Left fail to understand, is that the conservative
side of the political spectrum is trying to preserve the freedoms and liberties
of all, not just one party or group.
You do not have to agree with Ted Cruz, Donald Trump, Bernie
Sanders or Hillary Clinton but, if we want to remain a free society, you need
to acknowledge and defend their right to speak and believe as they wish.
Isn’t it better to know the true ideology of a person or
group? You should always know as much as
possible about an individual who wishes to represent you. Had we demanded more information about the
current executive, we may have dodged a tyrant. As of right now, it is still your right to
counter rally and challenge their ideology. You have freedom of speech and the
right to assemble, as long as you do not infringe on the rights of others.
Instead of acknowledging and tolerating that everyone has an
opinion and sees things from a different point of view, the Left has
aggressively begun to deny others the same rights they demand for themselves. To
see so much prompting and provocation coming directly from the administration, is
proof of how determined the executive is to transform our country from freedom
and liberty to enslavement and dependence.
For seven years we have witnessed a blow by blow attack by
the executive and his administration on our country. He calls our Constitution a document of
negative liberties. It is, however, quite the contrary. It is a document of positive liberties; a
document which recognizes the power of the people to govern and to be
self-reliant. Since that fateful day
when our current executive took the oath of office, our Constitution has been
under attack. He has done everything he
can to undermine our system of government and our exceptionalism, our freedom.
The fact that he was not voted out of office when we had the
chance and only gained more power, proves how lost, how far off course we have
drifted as a nation. He has convinced so
many that the government has all the answers. It isn’t the government’s
responsibility to fulfill the needs and solve the problems facing each
individual. He doesn’t believe that we can survive without his guidance and
executive commands. What will our
independence cost us? Dependency breeds
tyranny.
This administration had proven time and time again, that the
only thing it is capable of flawlessly executing, is the creation of more
problems.
“The Bill of Rights is what the people are entitled to
against every government, and what no just government should refuse, or rest on
inference.”
Thomas Jefferson
