Fox News’ Tucker Carlson had an audience of over a million more people than MSNBC’s Chris Hayes, who moderated a town hall with Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on Friday night.
Carlson had an audience of 2,656,000 viewers with 420,000 in the key 25-54 age demographic, according to Nielsen Media Research. Comparatively, the Ocasio-Cortez town hall only had 1,568,000 viewers, 232,000 of which were in the key demo.
U.S. Was Closer To Coup D'Etat Than Ever Before
"...The Russian-collusion argument was always an absurd, a practically insane proposition. ...The entire collusion claim was a political smear funded by the Democratic National Committee and the Clinton campaign, and all of those just mentioned as well as Mrs. Clinton, former attorney general Loretta Lynch, her deputy Sally Yates, others who made false FISA-warrant applications, and a large group of smaller fry, are up to their eyeballs in criminal abuse of high offices and betrayal of the nation’s trust.
...The president and his family have endured merciless torment by the intellectually corrupt national press and the lawless opposition.
...And the ringleaders in confecting this monstrous aggregation of defamatory lies should be legally punished, with the due process they tried to deny the nation’s leader.
Attempts to drive a president from office on the basis of allegations of betrayal of the country that they knew to be false is as close as the United States has ever been to an attempted coup d’état.
It is time for the legal system, which has ground slowly to a just verdict, to do the same to those responsible for this disgraceful episode. This must never happen again; not in America." Read all.
Virginia Governor Ralph Northam has a clear moral disconnect.
"Earlier this year, Governor Northam came under massive national criticism for appearing on a radio show and supporting infanticide. During his interview he advocated for merely keeping babies comfortable as parents leave them to die shortly after birth.
Northam defended a radical pro-abortion bill that would have allowed unborn babies to be aborted up to the point when a woman is about to give birth.
The governor not only defended the legislation, but he also said doctors and women could have a discussion about whether to leave a disabled newborn baby to die.
Later, Northam refused to disavow his comments when he endorsed infanticide, saying: “I don’t have any regrets.”
While protecting newborn babies who survive abortions is apparently too much for Northam to support, a law against animal cruelty isn’t. Today he signed a new bill into law that would make animal cruelty a felony in the commonwealth."
UK: Mother Arrested for Calling Trans Activist a Man on Twitter:
"British police arrested a mother in front of her children for calling a trans activist a man in a Twitter argument, with a judge subsequently issuing an injunction banning her from referring to the person’s “former male identity”.
38-year-old Kate Scottow, of Hitchin, Hertfordshire, said she was “arrested in my home by three officers, with my autistic ten-year-old daughter and breastfed 20-month-old son present” in comments posted to the Mumsnet online forum, according to the Mail on Sunday.
“I was then detained for seven hours in a cell with no sanitary products (which I said I needed) before being interviewed then later released under investigation… I was arrested for harassment and malicious communications because I called someone out and misgendered them on Twitter.”
The Trump Administration Is Expanding A Program That Boots Asylum Seekers Back To Mexico | The Daily Caller:
The Trump administration will be increasing the number of Central American asylum seekers who are sent back to Mexico to await their court case.
Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen announced Monday she will be expanding the “Migrant Protection Protocols” program, more popularly known as “Remain in Mexico.” Nielsen, in a memo sent to the federal borer chief, ordered Customs and Border Protection agents deployed on the U.S.-Mexico border to begin reviewing hundreds of migrant cases a day to determine if they should be booted back to Mexico.
I skipped breakfast again this morning. I won't worry about it.
"Yes, I've heard the advice. "It's the most important meal of the day."
...A Harvard University study said men who regularly skip breakfast have a 27 percent higher risk of suffering a heart attack. Twenty-seven percent!
But I'm not worried, because I now know there's no proof that skipping breakfast causes heart attacks or any other problem.
In my latest video, nutritionist Dr. Ruth Kava points out that just about all the claims about breakfast being especially important are unproven.
Those Harvard researchers actually say it "remains unknown whether specific eating habits…influence…heart disease risk."
Strokes and heart attack news persists in part because people who skip breakfast tend to have other bad habits, like smoking.
But the breakfast bunk keeps coming.
Several years ago, the government announced that skipping breakfast may make you fat.
Of course, the media jumped on that one.
...The government has backed away from its claim.
Why did researchers and the government get it so wrong?..." Read on!

Solomon: Time To Question Obama And Clinton About FISA Warrant - Sara A. Carter:
Solomon said Obama needs to be formally interviewed by the feds on what he knew and when he knew it.
“Why wasn’t [Obama] interested in Russian collusion before the election but [was interested] after the election?” he asked.
Solomon said Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.) should also be interviewed to see how much she knew about the contact between former Wall Street Journal reporter Glenn Simpson and ex-MI6 spy Christopher Steele.
Simpson, who worked at the time for opposition research firm Fusion GPS, reportedly worked with Steele to compile the disputed “Trump dossier.”
Jim Jordan Explains Why Certain Sections Of Mueller Report Must Be Redacted | The Daily Caller:
“This is where they’re at because the Mueller report was not the bombshell that they had hoped it would be. But when you have the head of the Intelligence Committee, the head of the Judiciary Committee saying, ‘Make public material that’s not supposed to get public,’ that’s not consistent with the law — that’s just wrong, just plain wrong.”

Look at the science and stop the march toward legalized marijuana "A new study published in the Lancet, a highly respected medical journal, found that high-potency marijuana can make you psychotic. In fact, about half of all cases of psychoses in Amsterdam could be prevented “if high-potency cannabis were no longer available,” the data suggest. ...Despite myths to the contrary, marijuana is a serious health risk. It does indeed result in unhealthy dependence among nearly one-third of users. It is a definite risk (perhaps deadly) for lung health, and it is especially dangerous for heart health. Some studies also show that it substantially increases risk for a form of testicular cancer. To be specific on heart risks, the National Institute on Drug Abuse reports: “Limited evidence suggests that a person’s risk of heart attack during the first hour after smoking marijuana is nearly five times his or her usual risk.” Read all.
The Pride Center and LGBTQ+ Multicultural Support Network at Oregon State University posted that they do not want a student veteran group to occupy a student lounge.
A letter co-penned by both groups stated that “the communities that our organizations serve are vulnerable to the ideological and practical consequences" of letting the student veteran group in the center...
...The Pride Center, which is an entity of the Department of Diversity and Cultural Engagement, stated that their members would be “vulnerable” to the consequences of deciding to let the vet group occupy that space.
...The Pride Center and LGBTQ+ group also explain that they are concerned with the “particular type of American patriotism that would be promoted by centralizing the Veteran Students Association in the [Student Experience Center].”
“We aim to resist the pain that US militarism has caused our siblings in struggle, and we denounce the glorification of the system that is responsible for this violence,” the center stated..."
Judicial Watch Files Ethics Complaint Over Rep. Adam Schiff’s Contacts with Glenn Simpson and Michael Cohen - Judicial Watch: Judicial Watch announced today that it filed an official complaint with the Office of Congressional Ethics about Rep. Adam Schiff’s (D-CA) controversial communications and contacts with two congressional witnesses: Glenn Simpson of Fusion GPS and Michael Cohen, President Trump’s former personal lawyer.
The complaint asks that Rep. Schiff, who is the new chairman of the House Intelligence Community, be investigated in connection with recent revelations that he met with Simpson in Aspen, Colorado, in July 2018 and that he and his staff coordinated with Michael Cohen on Cohen’s recent testimony to congressional committees. Cohen’s testimony is alleged to be false in several important respects.
Judicial Watch filed an ethics complaint on April 13, 2018, against Rep. Schiff and Rep. Jackie Speier (D-CA) for improperly confirming classified information in violation of House rules but the Committee has yet to take any public action on the complaint.
“Rep. Schiff has an ethics problem. His and his staff’s irregular communications with anti-Trump witnesses reflect poorly on the credibility of the House and its committees’ investigations,” stated Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “It has long been apparent that Rep. Schiff can’t be trusted to lead the Intelligence Committee, so we hope that Democrats on the Ethics Committee stop protecting Mr. Schiff and take action.”
The latest Judicial Watch ethics complaint is reprinted below:
Eating Red and Processed Meats, Even in Small Amounts, May Increase Death Risk - Neuroscience News
"Summary: Combined total intake of both red and processed meat is associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular disease deaths. A new study out of Loma Linda University Health suggests that eating red and processed meats — even in small amounts — may increase the risk of death from all causes, especially cardiovascular disease. Saeed Mastour Alshahrani, the lead author of the study and a doctoral student at Loma Linda University School of Public Health, said the research fills an important gap left by previous studies that looked at relatively higher levels of red meat intake and compared them with low intakes..." So.... This is how ESPN decided to open today’s Noon SportsCenter about Michigan State. Wow. Take a listen to this audio our friend @RicoBeard sent over:
Christian evangelist Ray Comfort, whose Living Waters ministry projects include “God Doesn’t Believe in Atheists,” “Nothing Created Everything” and “Einstein, God and the Bible,” is releasing a new film in which pro-choice students find they’re not as pro-choice as they thought.
In fact, many become pro-life by the time he’s done explaining to them “7 Reasons,” as his new film is titled.
It’s available now for download for a charge and is scheduled to be released on the Living Waters YouTube Channel on Mother’s Day weekend.
Comfort asks students whether they are pro-choice, and most say yes.
But within a few minutes, they’re reversing course.
He asks one student: “Did you change your mind?”
“Actually, you know what? Yeah, I have,” the student says.
The Hate Crimes of Jussie Smollett | RealClearPolitics
Let’s be clear: A hate crime did take place in Chicago. It’s an ongoing crime, too.
Yes, a hoax occurred -- more like two or three hoaxes -- but deliberately stoked racial animosity can’t be washed away with the forfeiture of a $10,000 bond, a few hours of dubious “community service,” or the sealing of public records in a criminal case. If history has taught us anything, it’s that hate tends to fester, especially when aided by fraud and abetted by government.
...Although it’s a story line that only the conservative media seem to be following, it turns out that racial hoaxes are disturbingly commonplace in this country.
Worse, the mainstream media often stokes them, or in some cases, takes the lead in pushing them. Their very frequency suggests a couple of disquieting deductions:
First, in our victimhood culture the demand for such outrages may now exceed the supply.
Second, it turned out that Jussie Smollett may have understood the political zeitgeist far better than those outraged by his scam.
...Shortly after Donald Trump’s election as president, the venerable Washington Post adopted as its mantra “Democracy Dies in Darkness.”
Some Trump supporters chafed at this slogan, seeing it as a subtle dig at their guy.
Maybe it is, but the newspaper’s sentiment is undeniably true. In Chicago, democracy also dies in the daylight. In the middle of the morning, in open court." Read all.
