Ten Reasons To Fear Covid-19 Less | James Keena

Ten Reasons To Fear Covid-19 Less | James Keena
"...What are some examples of misinformation?
  • Americans believe that people over age 54 account for just over half of Covid-19 deaths, but the actual figure is 92%.
  • They believe people under age 45 account for 30% of deaths, but the actual figure is less than 3%.
  • They believe the risk of death for people under the age of 25 is fifty times higher than the actual rate of 0.15%.
Here are some more facts.
  • Eighty percent of the Covid-19 fatalities are people over the aged of 64.
  • For everyone living outside of long-term care facilities, the infection mortality rate is 0.13%, which is about the same as the seasonal flu at 0.10%.
  • If you are younger than 35, your probability of dying from Covid-19 is 0.0005%.
  • Children under the age of 15 are more likely to die from lightning strikes than from Covid-19.
...Here are ten reasons why Covid-19 is far less risky for most people than the hyper-sensationalized portrayals by the media.
Reason One:  The Covid-19 outbreaks have been very localized...Read all.

Courting Trouble - American Thinker

Courting Trouble - American Thinker
"...The Supreme Court Vacancy
In a tell that they will lose this fight, the Democrats are throwing silly proposals up in the air -- everything from court packing to setting limits on the terms of justices to the Court to demanding any nominee recuse herself from any cases involving this election -- in advance of the hearings...
Babylon Bee, that wonderful satire siteunderscores the nonsensical, evidence-free hearings in Kavanaugh.
WASHINGTON, D.C.—In anticipation of Trump's upcoming announcement of who he will nominate to the Supreme Court, the Democrats have posted a nationwide job listing for believable accusers to tarnish the reputation of whoever Trump nominates...
"We know that whoever Trump nominates will be an evil, mean, bad person," said Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer. "That's just the kind of man Trump is. He hangs around evil, mean, bad people and he nominates them too. To prove this and save our democracy, we are hiring several believable witnesses to accuse Trump's nominee of whatever they probably did."
Listings have been purchased on ZipRecruiter, Monster, LinkedIn, and Craigslist.
(Actually, they have so many wonderful posts about the filling the vacancy, it’s  very hard to pick just one. Check them out.)
As expected, the President named as his nominee U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit Judge Amy Coney Barrett.
This well-researched article by Deion Kathawa is a useful primer on the charges likely to be made against her candidacy and a defense of them.  It’s my experience that, too often -- actually, almost always -- reports in the press about judicial actions are written to support or attack a decision without a thorough understanding of the way in which the cases reached the court involved and under what restrictions the judges were operating. Here’s one example from the article
In the 2019 case, Kanter v. Barr, the 7th Circuit upheld the mail-fraud conviction of the owner of an orthopedic footwear company and as a result, his right to keep and bear arms was abrogated. He contended that laws prohibiting people convicted of felonies from having guns violate a person’s Second Amendment right to bear arms. The majority rejected that argument, explaining that the government had shown that such laws are related to the government’s important goal of keeping guns away from people convicted of serious crimes.
Judge Barrett dissented (start at p. 27), arguing that at the Founding, legislatures took away the gun rights of people who were believed to be dangerous, not of just anyone who had committed any felony. So, for Barrett, the laws at the heart of Kanter are too broad because they ban nonviolent persons from possessing a firearm without any evidence that they pose a risk. Barrett stressed that the Second Amendment “confers an individual right, intimately connected with the natural right of self-defense and not limited to civic participation.”
It would be incredible to watch Democrats try to paint Judge Barrett as an extremist on guns given the way they -- for the past three months -- have excused, downplayed, ignored, and even tacitly encouraged violent mobs’ looting businesses, destroying property, and even murdering supporters of the president -- all with revolting impunity.

Black civil rights official predicts 'violence' against protesters who harass diners - TheBlaze

Peter Kirsanow, a member of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, told the network that protesters who have been harassing easily picked-on diners — many of them elderly — will soon overplay their hand: "It's not gonna end well at some point. At some point, they're gonna sit at the wrong table, and it's gonna have some violence."
Reacting to video of two elderly diners harassed and threatened by protesters in St. Petersburg, Florida, hours after a grand jury on Wednesday decided to not charge police in connection to Breonna Taylor's shooting death, Kirsanow took the bullying leftists to task.

The New Jim Snow Laws: The Crime of Defending Yourself While White - Bookworm Room
  • Do BLM rioters rule the streets, eclipsing the rights of all other Americans?
  • Can rogue progressive prosecutors ignore the 2nd Amendment and the right to self-defense?
  • Those issues go to the heart of the Kyle Rittenhouse case and the new Jim Snow Movement.
There is not just a war on policing in America by BLM.
There is equally a legal war being waged by progressive prosecutors on the right of Americans — and particularly non-proggressive white Americans, to self-defense.
It is the de facto institution of Jim Crow laws, only in reverse.
Call it Jim Snow.
The rogue prosecutors must be made to pay a price.
Kyle Rittenhouse was the 17 year old who killed two rioters and injured a third in Kenosha, Wisconsin on Aug. 25, 2020.
Within two days, District Attorney, Michael Graveley, filed a criminal complaint against Rittenhouse, outrageously charging him with homicide (2 counts) reckless endangerment (2 counts) and misdemeanor possession of a dangerous weapon by a person under 18.
I say outrageously because the facts as set forth in the complaint lead inescapably to the reasonable conclusion that Kyle Rittenhouse acted at all times in self defense.
Here is a video produced by Rittenhouse’s defense team incorporating the multiple video’s of the events of that night...Read/view all!

Republicans Push For Deeper Probe Of Hunter Biden Wire Transfers | The Daily Caller

Two top Republicans are pushing for FBI and Justice Department investigations into a series of wire transfers that Chinese and Russian businesspeople made to Hunter Biden, the son of Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.
Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan, the top Republican on the House Judiciary Committee, sent a letter Thursday to FBI Director Christopher Wray inquiring whether the bureau has investigated the wire transfers. Republican Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul said on Fox News Wednesday that he will submit a criminal referral to the DOJ over the payments.

Must remember! And repeat!-----Scott Brown - "It's the People's Seat"

The libs, dems and media think they own EVERYTHING. They don't!
From Betsy Gorisch "Every single time I hear anyone talk about "Ruth Bader Ginsburg's seat" on the Supreme Court, I am reminded of this famous exchange between Scott Brown and David Gergen back in 2010.
It was a stellar moment for Brown, and may have been responsible for his winning the election back then.
I would love to see someone jump on the RBG possessive attribution now and say the same thing.
It would be a big deal.
The exchange begins at 0:34 seconds in on the video and goes on until 0:50 seconds.
Don't miss it."

‘Organized Election Fraud’: 4 People, Including Texas County Commissioner, Charged In Mail Ballot Fraud Scheme | The Daily Caller

Republican Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton announced charges Thursday against four people, including a county commissioner, for allegedly carrying out a mail ballot fraud scheme in the 2018 Democratic primary.
Gregg County Commissioner Shannon Brown and three others “targeted young, able-bodied voters to cast ballots by mail by fraudulently claiming the voters were ‘disabled,’ in most cases without the voters’ knowledge or consent,” as part of a vote harvesting scheme meant to swing the primary to Brown, according to a press release from Paxton’s office.

Attorney says school district 'misapplied law' in arresting woman with no mask at football game
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — The attorney for a woman who was tased this week at a middle school football game in Logan after she refused to wear a facemask says the school district involved “misapplied the law, and misapplied it haphazardly and violently."
...She was approached by School Resource Officer Chris Smith and asked to wear a mask.
She did not, saying she suffers from asthma.
Smith then asked her to leave the stadium, and when Kitts did not, handcuffed her — applying a Taser to her right shoulder area in the process — and escorted her out.
...“Ms. Kitts explained to the policy officer and administrators that she has asthma, but they ignored her,” Thompson said in a statement to NBC4.
“Their position was that un-masked asthmatic must leave the stadium, (which) is not consistent with any directive or other law.”...Read all.

Two Kroger workers fired after refusing LGBTQ apron. Federal watchdog sues for religious discrimination. - TheBlaze

The federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission filed a religious discrimination lawsuit against supermarket chain Kroger on behalf of two women who said the store fired them after they refused to wear aprons that included an LGBTQ symbol, ABC News reported.
What are the details?
The lawsuit claims ex-workers Brenda Lawson and Trudy Rickerd said the company implemented a policy in April 2019 that required employees to wear an apron that included a rainbow heart, which they say endorses LGBTQ values, the network said.

Riot first, ask what happened...never-----Attorney: This is why Kenosha officer shot Jacob Blake - CNN

Attorney: This is why Kenosha officer shot Jacob Blake - CNN
(CNN)Police Officer Rusten Sheskey has told investigators that it wasn't just his life he was defending when he fired his weapon seven times at Jacob Blake last month in Kenosha, Wisconsin. He said he used deadly force during the chaotic encounter because he was afraid Blake, while attempting to flee the scene, was trying to kidnap a child in the backseat of the vehicle.
"He's got my kid. He's got my keys," Sheskey heard a woman say, according to attorney Brendan Matthews, who is representing the officer. If Sheskey had allowed Blake to drive away and something happened to the child "the question would have been 'why didn't you do something?'" Matthews said.
That explanation, provided in an exclusive interview with CNN, offers the most detailed rationale to date for Sheskey's highly scrutinized decision to shoot Blake, who is Black, as he leaned into an SUV with his children inside it on August 23...Read all.

Doug Ross @ Journal: MI, PA, WI JUDICIAL VOTE FRAUD UPDATE: Are Democrat House and Senate Candidates Trapped in a No-Win Situation?
"As if Democrats weren’t already fomenting enough chaos with their brownshirts -- Antifa, BLM and the like -- the Supreme Courts of several battleground states have decided to pile on. In PennsylvaniaMichiganMinnesota and Wisconsin, Democrat activists dressed in black robes have fundamentally rewritten state election laws. Among their various revisions to these crucial laws:
  • Mail-in ballots can be received up to seven (7) days after the election and still be counted
  • These ballots can be missing postmarks and still be counted
  • The signature on the ballot doesn't even have to match with that of the registered voter
  • And, as a bonus, they have banned the Green Party from the ballot to prevent erosion of the Biden vote
All of these illegal proclamations directly contravene state law and are simply naked, partisan attempts to swing the election.
More importantly, they are in clear violation of the Constitution.
