DOJ, Garland slammed for expressing dissent with SCOTUS ruling on guns: 'Thankfully he does so from DOJ, and not the Supreme Court' - TheBlaze

The Justice Department voiced disagreement on Thursday to a Supreme Court case that reaffirmed Second Amendment rights. In a 6-3 ruling, the Supreme Court struck down a New York law that required state residents to demonstrate "proper cause" when seeking a concealed carry permit. Under the law, seeking a concealed carry permit on the basis of self-protection alone was not sufficient cause for receiving one.

"VIDEO: Sri Lanka Is Screwed.

"...Including this bit: “‘This caused the government to enact strange policies, like banning the importation of fertilizer in hopes of easing its trade deficit. Claiming the ban was to make Sri Lanka organic was simply a way to conceal its dire situation.’ Yes, cutting back the ability of your own people to grow food in order to hide the manifest incompetence of your economic policies is quite the recipe for happiness.” Was there ever a “green” policy that wasn’t grift, graft, or fraud?

UPDATE (FROM GLENN): No, there wasn’t. Also: Flashback: Looming food shortages is the next ‘slow-moving disaster’ to hit world.--Posted by

Crowder Destroys Pelosi - TheBlaze

Crowder Destroys Pelosi - TheBlaze

Words matter, especially on matters of law. Pelosi, like many congressmen, misused legal terminology to weave a narrative. Whether by accident or by design, Pelosi created a record that is not factual, and Crowder was all over it.

Parent of 'de-transitioned' child speaks out against 'trans sanctuary' bill - TheBlaze

“Parents in the state of California have lost custody of their children merely by calling their child by their legal name. S.B. 107 must not pass,” Friday began. “California cannot just wipe away an out-of-state agreement addressing which parent controls the medical health of a child.”

S.B. 107 would give the state "exclusive jurisdictional basis for making an initial child custody determination, and permits a California court to assume temporary emergency jurisdiction in specified circumstances."

And the media still covers for that fraud??-----That Biden cheat sheet was apparently real

That Biden cheat sheet was apparently real
"When I first saw this story crop up on social media yesterday, I’ll confess that a part of me hoped it wasn’t true.
A video captured by C-SPAN during a meeting President Biden attended with wind industry executives appeared to show the President holding up a “cheat sheet” containing detailed instructions as to what she should and shouldn’t do during the meeting.
The rules were so basic as to sound absurd and the New York Post described them as “comically detailed.”
People have gotten so good at photoshopping images these days that I decided to hold off on writing anything about it because it still seemed possible that it might be fake. But it wasn’t..."

Dutch power grid can't handle influx of electric car charging points | NL Times
"...The growing demand for electric vehicles and accompanying charging stations is quickly overloading the power grid, grid operators confirmed to the broadcaster.
According to Rutger Croon of ElaanNL, the power grid in some 3,000 neighborhoods won’t have room for more charging stations within the next three years
...Grid operator Stedin also told BNR that the government must invest heavily in the rollout of smart charging “otherwise the grid will be too crowded.”
The other option is to upgrade the power grid.
“But that costs a lot of money and is a social choice. So we’d rather not do that.”..."

'Top Gun: Maverick' Success: Americans Want Woke-Free Films | National Review

'Top Gun: Maverick' Success: Americans Want Woke-Free Films | National Review

One big hook is that its action scenes are not merely fierce and engaging, they unabashedly celebrate the military. People who don’t get out to the movies much want to see TG:M because there’s nothing else like it. Along with small business, the military is one of only two beloved institutions left, and yet Hollywood mostly leaves unslaked this thirst for red-blooded, let’s-smoke-those-bogeys jingoism. Another plus is that the movie’s characters are simple and its storytelling clean, linear, and uncluttered.

Not simply "silly". Insane!
