'What you think, what you feel: It's all just data': WEF event hypes era of 'brain transparency' in which companies will monitor employees' thoughts and emotions - TheBlaze

'What you think, what you feel: It's all just data': WEF event hypes era of 'brain transparency' in which companies will monitor employees' thoughts and emotions - TheBlaze:

According to Farahany, it won't just be white-collar environments where workers' minds will be policed and tracked in this fashion. With the purported aim of preventing distracted-driving accidents on the road, Farahany suggested that truck drivers could be equipped with hats containing embedded electrode censors that would score what stage of alertness they are at in any given moment. Concerning the prospect of using brain surveillance to know when to preemptively intervene, Farahany underscored, "We as a society should want that."

The Curricular Firing Squads

The Curricular Firing Squads
  • School choice is more important than ever. - By Larry Sand
"...It’s important to note that NCSS is just fine with the “1619 Project,” which is a fraud...
One such true believer, American Federation of Teachers president Randi Weingarten, claims that “vetted lesson plans—like those from the 1619 Project— . . . help educators tackle the hard conversations around our country’s history and its impact on today and tomorrow.”
Speaking of the teachers unions, what do they envision as a proper curriculum?
  • ...For example, in July 2021, the Detroit Federation of Teachers settled a contract with the school district that created a “School Equity Lead Supplemental Position” to support and facilitate “culturally responsive teaching strategies for teachers.” Candidates for the position are selected by the district’s office of equity, advocacy, and civil rights, and must complete anti-racism training at the “Summer Anti-Racist Institute.”
  • Then there’s the National Education Association. The union has just released a statement, in which it insists that climate change must be taught in every subject including “science, social studies, visual and performing arts, and world languages.”...

Pro-life protester arrested at gunpoint by FBI found not guilty of FACE charges by jury - TheBlaze:

The Biden administration charged Houck under the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act, also known as the FACE Act. Critics alleged that the case strained the definitions of the law in order to make a political example of Houck and threaten other pro-life activists.

New study finds tolls on 14 highways could bring in $1B for Michigan's road improvement | WWMT
LANSING, Mich. — The debate over potential toll roads in Michigan has a new entry - as a lawmaker-commissioned study shows drivers may see a benefit from adding tolls to highways across the Lower Peninsula, with the funds used to improve state infrastructure.
An expert analysis of Michigan's 31 highways conducted by engineering company HNTB found the state could make a $1 billion income by putting up 14 toll roads - including large sections of I-96, 94, and 131...

Biden, Mayorkas Import Poverty, 'Enslavement' via Migration:

Meanwhile, President Joe Biden’s pro-migration border chief wants to import even more foreign workers for jobs throughout the United States — despite the inevitable damage to Americans’ ability to compete for decent wages and conditions.

Ignoring their own laws!!-----Another Trump-hating FBI lovebird flies out of the woodwork - American Thinker

Another Trump-hating FBI lovebird flies out of the woodwork - American Thinker - By Monica Showalter
"...Under FBI regulations, adulterous affairs are a firing offense, given that such behavior puts
national security at risk
and automatically leads to the loss of one's security clearance.
There's a lot of this going on at that troubled wokester agency now that a new lovebird case has emerged in the bust of FBI counterintelligence chief Charles McGonigal, yet nobody seems to be stopping it.
  •  Allison Guerriero said she dated McGonigal for a year, unaware he was married. He spent far more lavishly than an FBI salary would typically allow, she recalled, and she once found a bag of cash in his apartment.
...That there are so many such cases in the increasingly frequent panoply of FBI scandals suggests that they seem to have a flaming swinger culture over there... he engaged in a lot of this stuff he wasn't supposed to, he thumbed his nose at the rules because nobody enforced them, and it didn't take long for him to soon be sneaking around with the minions of a Russian oligarch for big money...

Florida bill could hand gun owners huge win, make the US a constitutional carry-majority country | Fox News

Florida bill could hand gun owners huge win, make the US a constitutional carry-majority country | Fox News:

Florida lawmakers introduced legislation on Monday to allow people to carry a concealed firearm without having to get a government-issued permit – a move that could make the majority of U.S. states permitless-carry territory.

"Our right to bear arms, of course, is enshrined in the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution," Republican state Rep. Chuck Brannan said during a press conference in Tallahassee. "The bill that I will file later today continues to advance Second Amendment freedoms through legislation known as ‘constitutional carry.’"

Next step? Force YOU to do same!-----A fridge too far?

A fridge too far? - JAZZ SHAW
"The Associated Press is continuing its tradition of celebrating people who are making a difference in an effort to “save the planet” through noble acts of sacrifice. One such person is Josh Spodek of Manhattan...

There are those for whom recycling and composting are not nearly enough, who have reduced their annual waste to almost zero, ditched their clothes dryer or given up flying, and are ready to take the next step in exploring the frontiers of sustainable living.

For Manhattanite Josh Spodek, that has meant going without a refrigerator, which he identified as the biggest source of electrical use in his Greenwich Village apartment.

Spodek began by deciding to go packaging-free, and one small step led to another. Now, he is living virtually grid-free in a city that in many ways is the epitome of grids.

...This is someone who has fully bought into the idea that humans don’t “deserve” the benefits of technology and that we all need to live in pods and eat bugs...
