While Justice Kagan performed duties with regard to AIDS, budget appropriations, campaign finance reform, education, health, labor, race, tobacco, Native Americans, and welfare, her most important job was the handling a lawsuit brought against President Bill Clinton by a woman who claimed then Arkansas Gov. Bill Clinton had sexually harassed her.

The released documents touch on how Elena Kagan as a White House counsel defended Bill Clinton against allegations in a civil suit brought by an ex-Arkansas state employee named Paula Jones.
In one May 1996 memo, Kagan appeared to be more concerned with how it looked "unseemly" for the president to be represented in court by so many attorneys, but made no mention of how unseemly it was for a sitting U.S. President to be accused of bullying a defenseless low-tier employee.

In the documents submitted to the opposing counsel and to the judge in the case, Kagan had many of the attorney's names -- who worked on the case -- removed from the cover-sheets for all documents and correspondence. "While not a criminal act or even a serious breach of civil law, [Kagan's] actions in removing those names could be considered unethical. Let me put it this way, if you or I did such a thing with legal documents, the judge or judges would not act kindly towards us," said political strategist and attorney Laurence Collier-Stevenson. "Ask yourself: is this the kind of person you want passing judgement on the entire government and nation?" he asked rhetorically.

"It's amazing how the political party that claims it fights for women's rights, in order to protect a sexual predator, smeared, harassed and ridiculed any and all women who came forward to point fingers at a president some believe was -- and still is -- a predatory sociopath," Collier-Stevenson added.

President Clinton's testimony during the Paula Jones lawsuit, in which he emphatically denied a sexual relationship with Lewinsky, ended up in having the U.S. Congress, including some Democrats, voting for his impeachment in 1998. Although the House passed two articles of impeachment against Clinton, he was acquitted by the Senate.

"For all their talk about fighting for women's rights, the feckless Senators on both sides of the aisle gave Clinton a pass and allowed him to deny justice to a low-level, female employee who even the media denigrated in their haste to protect their beloved Bill Clinton," said former sex crimes detective Alicia Rose Amato.

The Democratic Party leadership was obviously grateful for Kagan's role in defending Clinton, who later was charged with perjury for his alleged deceitful answers during the civil case. Prior to the election of President Barack Obama, Kagan's name was bandied as a potential nominee to the Supreme Court of the United States if a Democratic president were elected in 2008.

When President Obama nominated Kagan, during her confirmation, which failed to garner the drama that usually follows the Supreme Court nominations made by Republicans, not one of the Senators asked her about her work for the White House in defending Bill Clinton and she was confirmed by a vote of 63 Yeas to 37 Nays.

When Obama took office, 43 percent of Americans told Gallup that they were satisfied with the way the country was being governed, while 56 percent said they were dissatisfied. 
Today, just 27 percent say they’re satisfied and 72 percent say they’re dissatisfied.
A CNN poll taken in July found that trust in government is at an all-time low, with just 13 percent saying they trust government all or most of the time. 
Keating Holland, the director of polling at CNN, framed the results this way: 
“The number who trust government all or most of the time has sunk so low that it is hard to remember that there was ever a time when Americans routinely trusted government.”

While speaking with Fox News Radio's John Gibson, Malik Zulu Shabazz, the former head of the radical New Black Panther Party and current head of the Black Lawyers for Justice, called for rebellion against the United States if Ferguson, Missouri, police officer Darren Wilson is not indicted for murder, Breitbart.com reported Friday.

Several times during the contentious interview, Shabazz told Gibson he is calling for a, "rebellion" against America and what he called the "wicked world order." He also told Gibson that "we have as much right to rebel against America society as America did against the British."

"The authority of the white man and white America is illegitimate," he said. "You have been killing us for 400 years," he added, in a statement apparently intended to justify violence against white people.

Shabazz said he would not specifically call for violence. But, Breitbart added, Shabazz refused to condemn violence against white people.

Calls for death and violence against white people are nothing new for Shabazz and the New Black Panther Party. As we reported in August 2012, a New Black Panther leader identified by The Blaze as possibly being King Shamir Shabazz suggested killing white babies by bombing nurseries.

That same month, we also reported that a New Black Panther leader was caught on audio calling for the murder of all white people in South Africa. Khalid Muhammad, a former spokesman for Louis Farrakhan’s Nation of Islam, advocated genocide when he suggested killing all whites, including women and children.

"I say, if they don’t get out of town, we kill the men, we kill the women, we kill the children, we kill the babies, we kill the blind, we kill the cripple, we kill the crazy, we kill the (gays), we kill the lesbians, I say (expletive deleted) we kill them all," he said. "If they are white, kill ‘em all."

More recently, video surfaced of a "death chant" being led in Ferguson by someone appearing to be Shabazz. "Who do we want?" the leader asked. "Darren Wilson," protesters said.

"How do we want him?" the leader asked. Some could clearly be heard answering, "dead."

Now Shabazz is calling for revolution if he doesn't get his way. Making matters worse, Obama's so-called "Justice Department" continues to turn a blind eye to the threats and actions of the New Black Panther Party and its leaders. It's enough to make one believe liberals really do want a second, bloody, civil war in America."

The Obama Administration operates on the sound principle that, if you're going to have a scandal, it's best to have dozens of them and then no one can keep up, and none of them becomes large enough to matter.

In this case, Jonathan Dach is the son of an influential Obama donor and Walmart lobbyist with ties to the First Lady's "healthy eating initiative". 

Two years ago, Dach Jnr was part of the White House advance team dispatched to Cartagena ahead of the President's visit. 

The evidence from the hotel register conclusively proves that he had a prostitute in his room. 

But the White House hushed it up, on the grounds that he did not actually bill US taxpayers for his hooker. How did that happen? Well:

Dach "was not charged for additional guest as a benefit of Hilton Honor Member."

So under the Hilton Honors program the first hooker stays for free. 

Who knew? 

Did young Jonathan Dach only have all those points on his Hilton card because he was doing so much presidential travel? 

...Anyway, when he paid off the prostitute and came back from Colombia, Jonathan Dach was given a job at the White House "working on Global Women's Issues".

...I think it's worth keeping an eye on the big picture here. 

First, as I wrote two-and-a-half years ago, there was no reason for Mr Dach or any of the other at least two dozen federal johns to be in Cartagena at all: They were cavorting with prostitutes all night long because there was nothing for them to do:

The poll, conducted by Target Insyght, showed Bernstein of the well-known Sam Bernstein Law Firm, leading with 33 percent, followed by Kent County Judge James Robert Redford,  a Republican nominee, with 16 percent, and  incumbent Justice Brian ZAHRA, a second GOP nominee, with 13 percent.

The top two finishers will earn eight-year terms on the bench.

"Justice Brian Zahra could take third place in the race," said Target Insyght founder Ed SARPOLUS.

 The headline number released last week - 248,000 new jobs created during September - pales in comparison to the much larger exodus of job seekers from our labor force.

A similar result occurred in August: 203,000 new members of the adult population joined, while the labor force shrunk by 268,000.

The culprit is the rapidly declining labor force participation rate. 

Pre-recession, it was 66 percent of the adult population or higher, but has now been at 63 percent or lower for all but one month of the last year. 

Looking for the difference between those two numbers can obliterate the officially stated unemployment rate of 5.9 percent.

The Economic Policy Institute, a Left-leaning think tank supported by labor unions, has factored out the retirees and other demographic exits from the labor force and still comes up with more than 6.3 million “missing workers” not counted in the official unemployment statistics. 

EPI says honestly counting them as unemployed zips the real September unemployment rate up to 9.6 percent.

School officials at E.R. Dickson Elementary responded with what is perhaps the most uniquely crazy punishment I have ever heard of: 
They made the girl sign a contract promising not to kill anyone, including herself. According to NBC News and Rare:

Without her permission, [the girl's mother] says her five-year-old was then given this Mobile County Public Schools safety contract to sign, stating that she wouldn't kill herself or others.

"While I was in the lobby waiting, they had my five-year-old sign a contact about suicide and homicide," she said.

NBC News notes that the contract is not legally binding, since the kindergartner was about 14 years shy of the age of adulthood.
The little girl was also forced to take a psychological evaluation to gauge her likelihood of suicide. 
Unsurprisingly, she didn't even know what the word meant:"My child interrupted us and said, 'what is suicide? Mommy, daddy, what is suicide?'"
At least she learned something at school today? 
District officials did not respond to NBC News.

The union wrote on its Facebook page that photo ID for voting is the goal of the “billionaire funded” American Legislative Exchange Council, and is intended to create obstacles for voters who might support a more “progressive” agenda.
However, when its own members want to exercise their right under the new right-to-work law in Michigan to opt out of paying union dues as a condition of employment, UAW 6000 says they must show a photo ID.
... On the UAW's website, the union hierarchy opposes what it calls 'outrageous voter ID laws' but apparently union officials have no problem requiring ID for workers who want to resign and cut off union dues, including dues money spent to promote the union boss position on voter ID legislation.”
The UAW Local 6000 union did not return a request for comment.
