"Justin Trudeau, who likes to pose as an environmental expert, has an interesting method of dealing with questions about the carbon tax he champions and exactly what gains it has given Canadians regarding greenhouse gas emissions: he refuses to answer the question, as do members of his government.
Recently that dismissive posture was displayed when Catherine McKenna, Minister of Environment and Climate Change, refused to answer a question from Robert Sopuck of the Conservative Party. Sopuck asked, “I have a very specific question regarding the $50 carbon tax: How much will Canada’s emissions—and I want a number here—how much will Canada’s emissons be reduced under a $50 a ton carbon tax?”"

The report shows UAW membership at 430,871 in 2017, compared to 415,963 in 2016.
This marks the ninth straight year of membership growth.

- The Michigan Catastrophic Claims Association, the state's pool of medical payments for injured drivers, has set its 2019 fiscal year rate at $192 per vehicle, up from this year's rate of $170 per vehicle.

A judge ruled that Starbucks and other coffee sellers in California must provide a cancer warning on their products for customers.
A nonprofit group sued several companies that sell coffee, including Starbucks, coffee distributors and retailers in 2010.
The lawsuit claimed those companies violated state law, which requires them to warn consumers about chemicals in the roasting process that may cause cancer.
One of those chemicals is acrylamide, which is a carcinogen..."
