A group of protesters congregated outside what they claimed was Fox News host Tucker Carlson’s home in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday night to chant threatening messages.
Smash Racism D.C., a self-described “anti-fascist” group, posted a video of their members screaming obscenities at Carlson’s house and blaming his “policies” for the deaths of thousands of people.

Elmhurst College in Illinois offered students a space to "process" the 2018 midterm election results.
Three of the school's offices said that they would offer students cider, coffee, hot chocolate, and treats.

"Students at an Illinois college received an email on Tuesday offering “extra support and resources” for those struggling to “process” the 2018 midterm election results.
Three Elmhurst College offices informed students that there would be increased support on campus during the “stressful time” of midterm elections, according to an email obtained by Campus Reform.

Global warming met with a cool reception from voters Tuesday as ballot initiatives targeting fossil fuels went down to defeat in several Western states, defying environmental groups who are raising alarms about catastrophic climate change.
Voters rejected a near-ban on hydraulic fracturing in Colorado, a tripling of the renewable-energy standard in Arizona, and a landmark tax on carbon emissions in Washington, underscoring the climate movement’s difficulty in convincing voters that costly government policies are needed to save the planet.
“What we learned from this election, in states like Colorado, Arizona and Washington, is that voters reject policies that would make energy more expensive and less reliable to them, their families, and the larger economy,” said American Energy Alliance President Thomas J. Pyle.

Researchers from the National Toxicology Program found that radiation from phones using 2G and 3G caused male rats to develop cancerous tumours in the heart and brain.
Dr John Bucher, who led the study, said: “We believe that the link between radio frequency radiation and tumours in male rats is real.”
In the study, the researchers housed rats in special chambers, where they exposed the animals to phone radiation from the womb and through their lifetime.
The radiation exposure was intermittent - 10 minutes on and 10 minutes off, for 9 hours a day.
The researchers found that male rats developed tumours in the heart and brain.
But bizarrely, these rats tended to live for longer than those who hadn’t been exposed to radiation..."

"In its latest undercover video series on the midterm elections, Project Veritas found election officials in Texas affirming non-citizens can vote and admitting “tons” already had done so in early voting.
The video released Tuesday shows a Project Veritas journalist asking an election official if her illegal immigrant boyfriend can vote as long as he is registered to vote and has a driver’s license.
“Yeah, OK,’ she says. “If he has his ID, that’s all he needs. If he’s registered.”
The Project Veritas journalist responds: “Right. It doesn’t matter that he’s not a citizen? I saw some mess on the internet that it’s not legal for him to vote because.”
The official says: “No. Don’t pay any attention to that. Bring him up here.”
Another official says there’s no issue with “DACA people” voting, referring to the illegal immigrant children whose deportation was delayed through an executive memorandum issued by President Obama.
“We got a lot of ’em,” the official says of illegal DACA voters.
“From early voter? We got tons of them.”
Project Veritas says its video series reveals “secrets and lies from political campaigns in 2018.”
‘Part of the crazy, crazy, crazies’
Last week, a video featured a staffer for Florida gubernatorial Democratic candidate Rep. Andrew Gillum referring to Florida as a “f***ed up state” and a “cracker state” in which the campaign must appeal to “white guilt.”
The staffer admitted that while Gillum presents himself as a moderate, he’s a “progressive” and “part of the crazy, crazy, crazies.”

And if we refuse to stand aside, if we don’t acknowledge that our laws are unfair, if our immigration law, if we don’t acknowledge that it’s unfair and unjust and immoral, then we are somehow exhibiting white privilege, and we are discriminating.
Here’s what I think is going on. The global left headquartered in the United Nations and a number of other despotic places has run this exact same type of caravan of thousands ploy against western governments for years. This is exactly what’s been happening in Europe. You remember…? Stop and think, folks. You remember the videos, tons of videos that we saw showing Syrian military age men marching into Germany?

Melissa Link, who is also a local commissioner, encouraged others on her Facebook page to "rip" up signs as well.

The managing editor of ethics and environment at the University of Georgia’s Department of Philosophy, who also serves as a local commissioner, allegedly destroyed the yard signs of two state GOP candidates on Tuesday morning.

The employee, Melissa Link, addressed the incident on Facebook, inviting others to take part and bashing Republicans.

"[F]eel free to rip them up yourself for proper disposal because they are considered litter. Republican campaigns are infamous for lining roadsides near polling places..." Tweet This

Photos surfaced online of Commissioner Link addressing an onlooker who took notice of her actions. Campaign signs for Republican gubernatorial nominee Brian Kemp and local state House hopeful Houston Gaines can be seen in her hands, utterly destroyed.

The Trump administration announced Thursday that migrants who attempt to cross the U.S.-Mexico border illegally will not be eligible to claim asylum under a new rule meant to crack down on "meritless" claims.
The rule, which prevents migrants from claiming asylum if they do not do so at an official border crossing, is the latest attempt by the White House to handle a surge in migration to the U.S. from the Central American countries of Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador. President Trump is expected to formally enact the rule in a presidential proclamation Friday.
