Bokhari: Mark Zuckerberg Is Now the World's Chief Medical Officer
Bokhari: Mark Zuckerberg Is Now the World's Chief Medical Officer:
Does Mark Zuckerberg know more about the Chinese virus pandemic than Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro?
Neither has a background in medicine, but the answer is probably Bolsonaro, who is nearly thirty years Zuckerberg’s senior, and served a long career in the military, where basic medical training is usually mandatory even for non-medics. Outbreaks of disease, like Yellow Fever and the Zika virus, are more common in tropical, mosquito-prone Brazil than the U.S. Bolsonaro, like other heads of state, also has a Health Ministry, and like other world leaders no doubt receives daily briefings on the coronavirus.

American Airlines crammed the only 11 passengers on a flight into 3 rows because they only bought basic economy, report says
- American Airlines forced passengers to sit next to each other even though their flight was virtually empty, according to a report by Mother Jones.
- The incident took place on a flight on March 24, which had only 11 passengers, all in basic economy, according to the outlet, citing an unnamed flight attendant.
- Although there were plenty of seats, none were moved because "that would be an upgrade," according to a flight attendant on the plane, who did not give their name..."

"What Everyone’s Getting Wrong About the Toilet Paper Shortage:
Bottom line: There are separate consumer and office TP supply chains, and now that everyone’s working, and pooping, at home, the consumer chain is overstressed and the office one is, uh, backed up.
“In short, the toilet paper industry is split into two, largely separate markets: commercial and consumer.
The pandemic has shifted the lion’s share of demand to the latter.
People actually do need to buy significantly more toilet paper during the pandemic — not because they’re making more trips to the bathroom, but because they’re making more of them at home...”--Posted by Glenn Reynolds"

"While we are all preoccupied with the virus threat, there are other nefarious threats most are missing.
There is the threat that Islamic leaders pose in asking their people infected with the disease to infect others in virus jihad- die for the cause of Islam, infect others and go straight to heaven- truly sick, no pun intended.
We also have the oil war between the Saudis and Russia where the Saudis are pumping massive amounts into the world markets lowering prices, but it’s hidden agenda is to make America‘s frackers go out of business because it cost more to frack, thereby making American more dependent on them and not energy Independant. While we are economically down, they will pound and not let up. They see an injured opponent and will attempt to finish it. The Saudis are not our friends. Their form of Islam is the most radical.

America’s enemies see what is happening with one virus threat and will certainly produce others. This will NOT be the end of biological warfare, but the beginning. It is therefore incumbent upon America to have an effective “disaster preparedness“ plan in place for future threats.
Finally, the cure presently in place may very well be worse than the disease. We are near total shut down- approaching a police state where too much power has been subjugated to politicians in leadership positions. Constitutional rights have been lost for the “greater good.” Unless guidelines in the very near future are lessened, a sustained depression will occur-exactly what the democrats have been yearning for.
A weakened America is an easy target. Too many will lose jobs. Many businesses will not recover and that is exactly what America’s enemies want. Pray for wisdom for our elected leaders. Elect politicians whose agenda is for the people they represent, not their own."

Should We Postpone the Presidential Election One Year?
"The deeper we get into the pandemic, the more our country becomes locked down and socially distant: schools closed, shops closed, restaurants and theaters shut, churches reduced to services in parking lots, sporting events suspended, and recreational venues roped off.
The longer this continues with no real end in sight, only guesses by experts with ever-changing “models,” the more it becomes inevitable we must ask the question… Should we postpone the presidential election?
Or do we want some virtual election that would be so distant from a traditional American election it would more closely resemble a computer game while at the same time being fraught with myriad new possibilities for fraud and manipulation such as we have never seen before?...

The DREAM will be mandated?-----Strong Demand For Government-Owned Broadband – From Government Officials – Michigan Capitol Confidential
Strong Demand For Government-Owned Broadband – From Government Officials – Michigan Capitol Confidential Jan. 17, 2020
"The Southeast Michigan cities of Farmington and Farmington Hills are moving ahead with a plan to develop some form of municipal broadband internet service, hoping to provide reliable, high-speed connections at a lower cost than currently available private sector options.
Whether they can manage it remains an open question.
Government-backed broadband has, at best, a checkered history of success.
...Those officials likened public sector provision of comprehensive broadband technology to local government efforts in the 19th and 20th century to build road, water and sewer infrastructure. Broadband, they say, is vital for economic prosperity in the 21st century..."
