Newsom's INSANE new bill gives government control over what doctors can say to patients - TheBlaze

Newsom's INSANE new bill gives government control over what doctors can say to patients - TheBlaze

While the fact that California passed AB 2098 is dystopian enough, this may be just a doorway to allowing the government to determine what's "true" and what is not. "So, we have the state telling your doctor what he can or cannot say about a product that the state is a co-owner in. That's not good," Glenn Beck said on the radio program. "The government can't be the arbiter of truth. They can play no role in that. Now, California is deciding what the truth is ... but, warning, it is coming. It's in California and if California adopts something, wait until you see how many others do," he added.

Outraged parents, many of whom are Muslim, shut down Michigan school board meeting over LGBTQ books: 'Vote them out!' - TheBlaze

Hundreds of upset Michigan parents attending a Dearborn School Board meeting on Monday about LGBTQ books erupted into boos and chanted, "Vote them out." The protesters, who primarily included Muslim leaders and community activists, attended the meeting to voice their opposition to sexually explicit books in the district's school libraries. Parents grew further agitated when the board decided to address issues unrelated to the books first. In addition, parents said the board members had a condescending attitude when discussing their concerns.

“I just mentioned to someone that a friend of mine was in the Galapagos, and their response was “what’s that?”
There seems to be no such thing as a common body of knowledge in our culture anymore—things you can expect everyone with walking around sense to know.
Sometimes I feel like my whole life is an episode of Jaywalking with Leno, which I always assumed was staged.
Apparently not.”...

50 million tons of water vapor from Tonga's eruption could warm Earth for years | Live Science - By Mindy Weisberger

New York Times Races to Do Damage Control to Defend Biden's Lies

New York Times Races to Do Damage Control to Defend Biden's Lies - Spencer Brown
"In the latest installment of "things the mainstream media would never do for conservatives," The New York Times is again rushing to President Joe Biden's aid to defend his frequent use of outright lies in his...creative...storytelling.
Headlined "Biden, Storyteller in Chief, Spins Yarns That Often Unravel," the Times points to Biden's usual lies used to pander to audiences but characterizes the blatant falsehoods as merely a "habit of embellishing narratives to weave a political identity."
How nice to be Joe Biden and have the Times around to make your literally unbelievable anecdotes an endearing quality, or whatever.
  • ...Standing in front of Floridians who had lost everything during Hurricane Ian, President Biden on Wednesday recalled his own house being nearly destroyed 15 years ago: “We didn’t lose our whole home, but lightning struck and we lost an awful lot of it,” he said. But, as the Times points out, Biden's claims are untrue...

We lost the schools and the media. And now the children. And millions believe this!

GOP Sen. Sullivan: Biden's Delaying Alaskan Energy Projects that Have Dem Support While They Beg Dictators

Sullivan stated, [relevant remarks begin around 2:30] “It’s not just the Gulf of Mexico, but, in Alaska, we have a project, for example, called the Willow Project. It’s the most environmentally sound, lower emission big energy project in the world, and yet, we’re still waiting on approvals from the Biden administration on the Willow Project in Alaska, thousands of jobs. Everybody agrees that it’s a really important project, not just for my state, but for the country. It could produce up to 190,000 barrels a day. And what do they do? They’re delaying Willow.

Doctor's groups want to imprison those who disagree with them

Doctor's groups want to imprison those who disagree with them - Tom Knighton
"The American Medical Association (AMA), American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), and Children’s Hospital Association (CHA) sent a letter Monday to U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland urging the federal government to take action against journalists who raise awareness of gender transition procedures conducted on minors.
...But the letter soon reveals that the groups have a much bigger target in mind than criminal acts by fringe actors.
“The attacks are rooted in an intentional campaign of disinformation, where a few high-profile users on social media share false and misleading information targeting individual physicians and hospitals, resulting in a rapid escalation of threats, harassment, and disruption of care across multiple jurisdictions,”...
