Net Zero Bombshell: The World Does Not Have Enough Lithium and Cobalt to Replace All Batteries Every 10 Years – Finnish Government Report
"...Until the lights start to go out and heating fails, they are unlikely to pay much attention to a recent 1,000 page alternative energy investigation undertaken for a Finnish Government agency by Associate Professor Simon Michaux...
  • To cite just one example of how un-costed Net Zero is, Michaux notes that “in theory” there are enough global reserves of nickel and lithium if they are exclusively used to produce batteries for electric vehicles.
  • But there is not enough cobalt, and more will need to be discovered.
  • It gets much worse. All the new batteries have a useful working life of only 8-10 years, so replacements will need to be regularly produced.

Biden's Marijuana Pardons Did Not Free Any Prisoners or Deliver Expungement As Promised
"...Biden's October 6 proclamation applied only to U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents convicted of simple marijuana possession under the Controlled Substances Act or the District of Columbia Code, none of whom was still incarcerated.
Although his pardons could benefit as many as 10,000 or so individuals, that represents a tiny percentage of all simple possession cases, which typically are charged under state law
  • And Biden's action will not release a single federal prisoner...

Worthy read.-----The Ethical Principle of ‘Epikeia’

The Ethical Principle of ‘Epikeia’ - Daniel
  • It’s 2 a.m. and Claire has been stuck at a red light for five minutes. She knows that it’s against the law to run a red light. However, no other cars are in sight, and it seems ridiculous to wait for the light to turn green. Should she run the red light and continue her drive home?
  • Brian knows that public urination is against the law. However, there are no restrooms around, and he has to go to the bathroom very badly. He happens to have a susceptibility to bladder infections, and has been hospitalized a couple of times because of them. Should he go ahead and relieve himself in the nearby alley?
How to deal with these moral dilemmas?
Well, there’s an ethical principle for that!
It’s called epikeia.
Epikeia is a Greek word meaning “reasonableness”...

‘It’s too Dangerous to Become a Teacher’—Rebecca Friedrichs

‘It’s too Dangerous to Become a Teacher’—Rebecca Friedrichs - Eileen Griffin
  • ...Number one, there are a lot of people who are aware that the teaching profession is now dangerous. It’s dangerous to become a teacher. It’s like the police. Why would you become a police officer, knowing that nobody is going to have your back and that the criminals have all the rights?
  • A lot of people are avoiding the profession altogether. Who really wants to be a teacher? I resigned. I’d still be in the classroom if it wasn’t so corrupt. My husband retired earlier than he planned.
  • ...If you don’t go along with lying to parents, then you’re under investigation or something.
  • ...It’s also dangerous because of the anti-discipline policies. The discipline is out of control.

  • "Adults who use cannabis have more pain after surgery than those who don’t use cannabis, according to a study presented at the ANESTHESIOLOGY 2022 annual meeting.
“Cannabis is the most commonly used illicit drug in the United States and increasingly used as an alternative treatment for chronic pain, but there is limited data that shows how it affects patient outcomes after surgery,” said Elyad Ekrami, M.D., lead author of the study and clinical research fellow of the Outcomes Research Department at Cleveland Clinic’s Anesthesiology Institute...

Video: Pathetic left-wing protesters try shutting down Matt Walsh's 'Rally to End Child Mutilation' but have complete meltdowns instead - TheBlaze

Matt Walsh's "Rally to End Child Mutilation" attracted an estimated 3,000 people Friday at the Tennessee State Capitol — as well as a small group of foul-mouthed, left-wing protesters who made several pathetic, unsuccessful attempts to shut down the event, according to the Daily Wire.

The large crowd was solidly with Walsh's cause to end medical transgender treatments for children and easily drowned out the protesters.
