Can John Ratcliffe tame the deep-state beast at the CIA? | Blaze Media:
As Ratcliffe or any successor assumes the director’s office, he must be prepared for a battle against the internal saboteurs and the inertia and resistance within. The support system around a new director will determine his success in leading the CIA and truly reforming it. The goal should not be merely to dismantle the deep state but to establish an environment where transparency, accountability, and integrity are the new norms, ensuring that the agency serves its true purpose of safeguarding national security without overstepping its bounds.

Trump Never Imposed a ‘Muslim Ban,’ and It’s Coming Back - Robert Spencer
What these 13 countries had in common was that they either would not or could not provide adequate information about those people who wanted to enter the United States
The whole controversy over this was hysterical, as it never really was a “Muslim Ban” in the first place, and now watch for more hysteria: Trump is bringing it back.
Todd Bensman of the Center for Immigration Studies reported in the New York Post Thursday that Trump “plans to resuscitate what he called his ‘famous Travel Ban’ for a second term,” and that’s a good thing, as the “Muslim Ban,” or “Travel Ban,” or whatever you want to call it was always a common-sense security measure, and Lord knows, we sure could use a few of those these days.

- Bensman notes that the last version of this ban prohibited immigration from thirteen countries: Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Yemen, North Korea, Burma, Eritrea, Kyrgyzstan, Nigeria, Sudan and Tanzania.
- The keen-eyed reader will notice that North Korea, Burma, and Tanzania aren’t Muslim countries at all, that Eritrea and Nigeria are about evenly divided between Muslims and Christians, and that Kyrgyzstan, while about 90% Muslim, is a former Soviet republic in which most of the Muslims are highly secularized and hardly interested in waging jihad.

“Is it possible that there are a few Democrats who said the border was ‘very important’ because they don’t believe Biden-Harris opened the border wide enough?
- Technically, I suppose there could be some small number of middle-aged progressive female TikTok influencers with recently shaved skulls who sincerely believe (when the Xanax isn’t working) that not enough people from Burkina Faso snuck across.
- But it’s safe to say they aren’t a large enough constituency to bother catering to.”
PolitiFact hammers Nancy Pelosi for lying about illegal immigration under Biden and Trump | Blaze Media
PolitiFact hammers Nancy Pelosi for lying about illegal immigration under Biden and Trump | Blaze Media:
The article went on to cite specific statistics that showed illegal entries into the U.S. skyrocketed under Biden as compared to Trump.
Under Biden, Border Patrol agents encountered migrants trying to enter the U.S.7.2 million times; under Trump, officials encountered migrants 1.8 million times. Encounters don’t mean people were let in, and there’s no data for how many people who were encountered are now living in the U.S. But the numbers of people released to await court hearings don’t corroborate Pelosi’s statement, either. There were about 313,000 under Trump compared with 3.6 million under Biden.
"We rate Pelosi’s statement False," PolitiFact concluded.

FEMA ignoring Trump supporters Florida why need Matt Gaetz | Blaze Media:
Last week, Blaze News covered a story about a FEMA supervisor named Marn’i Washington who was fired due to a released report accusing her of ordering relief agents under her authority to avoid homes with Trump signs in Lake Placid, Florida.
According to Washington, however, she was merely the scapegoat for FEMA’s broader discriminatory policies.

- Recriminations are free flowing from the Democrat intelligentsia now...
- What is hard for people to understand, particularly in politics, is how easily “relevance” can be mistaken for popularity.
For decades (since Bill Clinton), what the Democrats have had is popularity, not relevance – and they have created popularity by promising free ice cream for breakfast and a theory of governance where nothing is your fault because the other guy did it (even though they are telling the “other guy” the same thing)...

Can RFK Jr. put an END to a corrupt FDA? | Blaze Media:
Donald Trump has nominated Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to be his secretary of health and human services — and Glenn Beck of “The Glenn Beck Program” couldn’t be more thrilled, though he does have some suggestions.
“I want him to dismantle the money going back and forth from the drug companies, the revolving door,” Glenn tells head researcher Jason Buttrill and Stu Burguiere of “Stu Does America.”
Why? Glenn explains that this is because the system is corrupt and currently has little to nothing to do with America’s health and much more to do with the pockets of large corporations.
