Richard Stucky - DIVORCE AGREEMENT THIS IS INCREDIBLY WELL-PUT,...
"THIS IS INCREDIBLY WELL-PUT, AND I CAN HARDLY BELIEVE IT'S WRITTEN BY A STUDENT!!!
WHATEVER HE RUNS FOR, I'LL VOTE FOR HIM.
"Dear American liberals, leftists, social progressives, socialists, Marxists, and Obama supporters, et al:
We have stuck together since the late 1950s for the sake of the kids, but the whole of this latest election process has made me realize that I want a divorce.
I know we tolerated each other for many years for the sake of future generations, but sadly, this relationship has clearly run its course.
Our two ideological sides of America cannot and will not ever agree on what is right for us all, so let's just end it on friendly terms.
We can smile and chalk it up to irreconcilable differences and go our own way.
Here is our separation agreement:
See the source imageOur two groups can equitably divide up the country by land mass, each taking a similar portion.
That will be the difficult part, but I am sure our two sides can come to a friendly agreement.
After that, it should be relatively easy!
Our respective representatives can effortlessly divide other assets, since both sides have such distinct and disparate tastes.
—We don't like redistributive taxes, so you can keep them.
--You are welcome to the liberal judges and the ACLU.
--Since you hate guns and war, we'll take our firearms, the cops, the NRA, and the military.
--We'll take the nasty, smelly oil industry and the coal mines, and you can go with wind, solar, and bio-diesel.
--You can keep Oprah, Whoopi, Bill Maher, Michael Moore and Rosie O'Donnell. You are, however, responsible for finding a bio-diesel vehicle big enough to move all five of them.
--We'll keep capitalism, greedy corporations, pharmaceutical companies, Wal-Mart, and Wall Street.
--You can have your beloved lifelong welfare dwellers, food stamps, homeless, homeboys, hippies, druggies, and illegal aliens.
--We'll keep the hot Alaskan hockey moms, greedy CEOs, and rednecks.
--We'll keep Bill O’Reilly and Bibles and give you NBC and Hollywood.
--You can make nice with Iran and Palestine and we'll retain the right to invade and hammer places that threaten us.
--You can have the peaceniks and war protesters.
--When our allies or our way of life are under assault, we'll help provide them security.
--We'll keep our Judeo-Christian values.
--You are welcome to Islam, Scientology, Humanism, political correctness, and Shirley McLaine. You can also have the UN., but we will no longer be paying the bill.
--We'll keep the SUVs, pickup trucks, and oversized luxury cars. You can take every Volt and Leaf you can find.
--You can give everyone health care if you can find any practicing doctors.
--We'll keep "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" and "The National Anthem."
--I'm sure you'll be happy to substitute "Imagine," "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing," "Kum Baya," or "We Are the World."
No photo description available.--We'll practice trickle-down economics and you can continue to give trickle-up poverty your best shot.
--Since it often so offends you, we'll keep our history, our name, and our flag.
Would you agree to this?
If so, please pass it along to other like-minded liberal and conservative patriots and if you do not agree, just hit delete.
In the spirit of friendly parting, I'll bet you might think about which one of us will need whose help in 15 years.
Sincerely,
John J. Wall-Law Student and an American
P.S. Also, please take George Clooney, Ted Turner, Sean Penn, Martin Short, Charlie Sheen, Barbra Streisand, and (Hanoi) Jane Fonda with you.
P.P.S. And you won't have to press 1 for English when you call our country.
Forward This Every Time You Get It !
Let's Keep This Going, Maybe Some Of It Will Start Sink in.

Government Mandates, Not Free Markets, Responsible for Minnesota's Solar Growth - American Experiment

Government Mandates, Not Free Markets, Responsible for Minnesota's Solar Growth - American Experiment
"...Despite the poor solar resources in Minnesota, our state had installed 882 MW of solar.
This is an awful lot of solar panels given the fact that solar irradiance is low here, especially compared to states like Arizona and California, and it strongly suggests the growth in solar in Minnesota is a product of government mandates and rate structures, not free markets.
In 2013, the Minnesota legislature passed legislation requiring 1.5 percent of Minnesota’s electricity come from solar by 2020, and it also established Minnesota’s Community Solar Garden program, which requires Xcel Energy to purchase electricity from the facilities at a rate of $110-125 per megawatt hour.
This is four times the cost of electricity generated at the Sherburne County coal plant, which generates some of the lowest-cost electricity in the state.
Given this sweetheart deal, it’s no surprise that 57 percent of the solar installed in Minnesota is Community Solar..."

Don't Bail Colleges Out Of The Student Loan Mess They've Made

Don't Bail Colleges Out Of The Student Loan Mess They've Made:
  • This exploitative system should not be bailed out by boondoggles such as Democratic presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren’s plans for free college and student loan bailouts.
The political left owns higher education, and has broken it.
With rare exception, colleges and universities are dominated by leftists, who should be held accountable for the mess they have made.
But if we hope to reform higher education, we need to understand the dynamics at play.
See the source imageIn particular, we must realize how administrators have used social justice activism to seize power and to cover for their economic injustices.
It is true that the tuition is too damn high.
...Yet even as tuition costs have shot up, classes are increasingly taught by underpaid adjunct faculty and graduate assistants.
Students are paying more to learn from instructors who are paid less, so where does the money go?
...Much of it goes to pay for administrative bloat, as exemplified by the University of Michigan and its horde of nearly 100 diversity administrators.
It has become normal for a university to have more administrators than full-time faculty..."

BREAKING NEWS: FISA Court Says FBI Lied to Them, Illegally Spied | The Stream:

Image result for flickr commons images obamaSo, if the Obama FBI was conducting these kinds of abuses all that time, we’ve got a serious violation of civil liberties on our hands. As I pointed out on the show, this revelation brings home what Jared Kushner was saying the other day about the investigation into Trump causing more damage than the Russians did.
Civil libertarians should be enraged. “I think the investigation is going to end up being very, very intense,” Giuliani said. He added, “I agree that Attorney General Barr is exactly the right guy to do it. He’s got a great sense of justice … What they did with this court is an outrage, and it’s got to be corrected because we all can be invaded like this.”
DiGenova said that in addition to Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report, which is expected out in May or early June, there’s another big one scheduled to drop in two weeks: the one just on James Comey. This one will be “a bombshell,” he said (and, unlike the hacks at CNN and MSNBC, he doesn’t throw that word around lightly). “It’s going to open up the investigation on a very high note, and there will be criminal referrals in it.”

Holi crapoli!!!-----Federal Lending to Insolvent Pension Plans Is Code for Bailout | RealClearMarkets

Federal Lending to Insolvent Pension Plans Is Code for Bailout | RealClearMarkets
"Here’s a remarkable lending opportunity to consider:
Let’s make billions of dollars in loans to borrowers which “are insolvent” or in “critical or declining status.”
See the source imageThese loans would be unsecured and no payments of principal would be due for 30 years.
At that point, in case of default, the loans would be forgiven.
Would you make such a loan?
Obviously not, and neither would anybody else—except maybe the government.
This idea is one only politicians could love, since it gives them a way to spend the taxpayers’ money without calling it spending.
Making such loans is proposed in a bill before the House Ways and Means Committee, entitled “Rehabilitation for Multiemployer Pensions Act” (HR 397).
The borrowers would be multiemployer (union) pension funds which are deeply underfunded, insolvent in the sense of having obligations much greater than their assets, and won’t have the money to pay the benefits they have promised.
A more forthright title for the bill would be the “Taxpayer Bailout of Multiemployer Pension Funds Act.”...

Nancy Pelosi and Democrats Block Bill to Stop Infanticide For 33rd Time, Refuse Care for Babies Born Alive | LifeNews.com

Nancy Pelosi and Democrats Block Bill to Stop Infanticide For 33rd Time, Refuse Care for Babies Born Alive | LifeNews.com:

Image result for flickr commons images Rep. Bill Huizenga, a Michigan RepublicanToday, House Democrats refused a vote on the bill for the 33rd time — reading the same statement they have read the previous 32 occasions that claims there is no bipartisan agreement to bring the bill up for a vote. Despite the claim, Republican leaders have repeatedly asked Pelosi and top Democrats to reach an agreement for the bill to receive a vote.
This is the 35th time in total that Congressional Democrats thwarted an attempt by Republicans to vote on a bill that would provide medical care and treatment for babies who provide survived failed abortions — 33 times in the House and twice in the Senate.
Rep. Bill Huizenga, a Michigan Republican, offered the unanimous consent request to allow a vote on the anti-infanticide bill but Democrats, as shown below, ruled it out of order. As they have done numerous times, after Democrats denied his request to vote on the bill, they cut off Congressman Huizenga’s microphone so he could not object to their denying a vote.

The debate is not about whether we should allow immigration – it’s about how we do so in a way that protects American sovereignty, respects the rule of law, and is beneficial to all Americans. So what does a thoughtful agenda for American immigration reform look like? Here are four guiding principles:

Combat Vet Who Stopped The Synagogue Shooter: ‘I Scared The Hell Out Of Him’ | The Daily Caller

"The man who fired a semi-automatic weapon inside the Chabad of Poway synagogue in San Diego on Saturday froze, dropped his gun and sprinted to his car when he saw Oscar Stewart come barreling toward him, yelling so loud the priest at a neighboring church could hear.
“Get down!” Stewart yelled, according to his wife and others who were at the scene.
“You motherfucker! I’m going to kill you!”
...Stewart, 51, told The Daily Caller on Sunday he doesn’t remember any conscious thought from the moment he heard the gun shots until it was all over — he just acted on instinct to stop the shooter and prevent him from leaving so he couldn’t hurt more people somewhere else.
The Iraq combat veteran said his military training kicked in.
“I knew I had to be within five feet of this guy so his rifle couldn’t get to me,” Stewart said. “So I ran immediately toward him, and I yelled as loud as I could. And he was scared. I scared the hell out of him.”
Stewart said he chased him all the way out to his car and began pounding on it — the shooter had managed to lock himself in.
See the source imageWhen Stewart saw him reach for a rifle, he punched the side of the car as hard as he could, intending to figure out a way to drag him out of the car.
That’s when a Border Patrol agent who attends the synagogue came running out to the parking lot, yelling for Stewart to get down because he had a gun.
Stewart says this man may have saved his life and pointed to his use of a civilian’s gun as evidence that gun control isn’t the answer to these kinds of tragedies.
Stewart was off-duty and was apparently handed the weapon by someone else on the scene.
“It takes a good guy with a gun to stop a bad guy with a gun,” he told the Caller..."

The Notre Dame fire: Conclusions enforced before the evidence was examined
"The recent fire in Notre Dame Cathedral has highlighted the attempts of the powerful to control the news.
See the source imageThe Paris prosecutor, Rémy Heitz, has decided the fire was "likely accident, not arson."
When reporting his decision, it is easy to eliminate the word "likely" for the sake of brevity.  (Please excuse the sarcasm.)

Battling the Democrats’ big lie about Donald Trump

Battling the Democrats’ big lie about Donald Trump:

Image result for flickr commons images hillary clintonSo Clinton has been consistent, but her argument has not aged well, to put it kindly. It turns out that while some Russian agents did try to sow discord and help Trump, she worked with other Russians to compile her phony dossier on him. Her team gave it to the FBI, which used it as an excuse to spy on Trump.
So his suspicions about the election were well founded. It was rigged against him.
The saving grace is that the Obama White House and its law-enforcement and intelligence leaders were no match for the constitutional system they tried to thwart. Their plot to make Clinton president failed.

"Employers seeking to avoid lawsuits in the hypersensitive age of the #MeToo movement are looking to ban even the most innocuous professional courtesies, including handshakes.
Last week, Kate Palmer, associate director of advisory at human resources consultancy Peninsula and an alleged “expert” on the matter, said that employers may soon seek to ban “all forms of physical contact to avoid confusion about what kind of touch is appropriate,” according to The Sun of Britain.
...When it came to asking a woman out for a drink, about one in four young males and about 12.5% of young females said it would "always" or "usually" be a form of sexual harassment.
For reference, those polled in Sweden, Germany, and the U.K., all polled around 0% for this particular hypothetical.
Additionally, about 50% of young men and woman considered a man looking at a woman's breasts to be "always" or "usually" sexual harassment."

Rapist and murderers could be set free after age 55 if ‘crazy’ bill proposed by NYC Dems passes Conservative News Today
"New York City Republicans and law enforcement officials are incensed over a proposal seeking to grant parole eligibility to older inmates who have served some prison time.
Currently imprisoned felons, including murderers and rapists, could be out on the street again if the controversial state bill passes, allowing inmates aged 55 and older who have been in prison at least 15 years to be eligible for parole.
New York City councilman Joe Borelli blasted the “elder parole” bill with its automatic eligibility during an appearance on “Fox & Friends First” Monday.
These are not people that stole a candy bar, they’re not people that smoked a joint and got caught,” he said, contending that anyone in jail for 15 years or more has likely committed a “heinous crime” that “at 15 years prior, a judge and jury thought you deserved to be put away for almost the remainder of your life.”
Murderers, rapists, child molesters and others with Class A and Class B felonies would be eligible for parole under the proposed bill, which Borelli slammed as “basically an amnesty program,” citing the issues with the New York State Parole Board..."
