She also took a trip to Florida in March 2020. Shortly after, she appeared on "Meet the Press" and urged people to specifically avoid traveling for spring break in Florida. Furthermore, Whitmer attended former President Joe Biden's inauguration on Jan. 20, 2021, spurning her own pandemic guidelines.
